LUCAN SKATING CLUB

Lucan Skating Club was established in the early 1980's by Carol and Alma Moir. They were joined shortly after by their sister Marg Carey. Carol and Alma moved on to begin a new figure skating club in Ilderton, while Marg continued with Lucan before officially retiring in March 2018. Lucan Skating Club is proud to serve the community of Lucan and surrounding area by teaching skating to those interested in figure skating, hockey, ringette, and synchronized skating... The Lucan Skating Club is a Skate Canada sanctioned figure skating club, governed by the rules and regulations of the Skate Canada organization. We are a not-for-profit organization that operates with a group of volunteers. Every April, the Club holds an Annual General Meeting of the members. Every year, a group of members step forward to volunteer to act as the Board of Directors. These Directors donate their personal time to run the Club for the benefit of all members and skaters.
