Malik Hospital has the distinction of being the oldest hospital of Hisar. It founders Drs' R.S. Malik & (Mrs.) S. Malik had the motto," Give your best to patients and have faith in God". These two young doctors came to Hisar in 1966. Cholera was an epidemic here and every summer hundreds of children died due to cholera in Hisar and the surrounding villages. Almost single handedly , Dr R S Malik eradicated cholera deaths in and around Hisar. Malik Hospital opened its gates to patients in 1971.
