While living in upstate New York in 2006, I began my line, Maris Rae Handbags. As soon as I learned to sew, I was captivated. I found the fact that I could MAKE something so unique and functional with only fabric and thread utterly exciting. My main focus has always been handbags, and I have worked very hard to design and produce a quality handbag to be proud of. My sister, Raquel, now helps with some of the sewing and designing, and all bags are made by us. We pride ourselves on our quality and the attention to detail we put into each bag and accessory.
