Mr. Martens serves as Kansas representative to the National Workers Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN) and has served on the NWCDN Executive Board. Mr. Martens also served as past Employer-Side Chair of the American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section, Workers Compensation Committee (2007-2010). Mr. Martens was the first Kansas lawyer to be inducted as a Fellow of the College of Workers Compensation Lawyers in 2008 and sat on the College's Board of Governors from 2011-2012.
