DR. JACQUELINE M. MAYO

In addition to seeing patients at 72nd Street Medical Associates, Dr. Mayo is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Mayo graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, where she was elected to Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society. Prior to medical school, she worked as an electrical engineer in industry and at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Mayo earned her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York City, where she was honored with marks of distinction including the "The Weiss Prize for Excellence in Clinical Medicine." She then completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College. Her practice was located at Hospital for Special Surgery until she joined 72nd Street Medical Associates in 2013. She remains active in the New York-Presbyterian Hospital community, teaching and training tomorrow's best doctors.

DR. SONAL S. PARR

In addition to seeing patients at 72nd Street Medical Associates, Dr. Parr is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College as well as an Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Dr. Parr graduated magna cum laude with honors from Brown University where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Prior to medical school, she worked as a molecular biologist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and later as a research fellow at Columbia Presbyterian Complementary Care Center under Dr. Mehmet Oz. Dr. Parr received her medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She then pursued post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. Her practice was located at Hospital for Special Surgery until she joined 72nd Street Medical Associates in 2013. Throughout her career Dr. Parr has been involved in research projects in molecular biology and complementary medicine. She is currently involved in a project assessing new treatment alternatives in osteoporosis. She remains active in the New York Presbyterian community, teaching and training tomorrow's best doctors.
