Melton Hockey Club was formed in 1952, recently passing it's 60th anniversary. Up until 1962, the club was known as 'Melton Old Grammarians', consisting of just one team playing friendly matches. The club then moved on to league hockey for 10 years till 1972, whilst playing at Egerton Park...
