Ann E.W. Morton has a B.A. and Ph.D. in Archaeology, and has worked in Cultural Resource Management and Museums since 1981. She is a qualified 36 CFR 61 archeologist, and a member of the Institute of Field Archaeologists since 1986. She is an adjunct professor of Anthropology at Finger Lakes Community College, Canandaigua, and at Monroe Community College, Rochester. She is an officer of the New York Archaeological Council and a member the New York State Archaeological Association. In addition, she is a founder and co-chair of the Archaeological Site Preservation Initiative (A.S.P.I.) for New York State.
