Andrew Kear joins Museum London from the Winnipeg Art Gallery, where he was the Head of Collections and Exhibitions and Curator of Canadian Art. He began his career at the Tom Thomson Art Gallery in 2007 as Registrar and Assistant Curator. Andrew has curated over 25 exhibitions, with a focus on historical Canadian art, although he has also mounted shows of contemporary and international art. He has delivered papers at numerous academic conferences, written for a number of art publications including Canadian Art, Border Crossings, and Sculpture, and has taught Canadian art at the University of Winnipeg since 2010. Andrew holds a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and Masters degrees in philosophy and Canadian art history from the University of Toronto and Carleton University.
Prior to joining the management team in 2000, Cydna Mercer worked in Kettle's Yard, Cambridge, England as an animateur and at the Detroit Institute of Arts as Assistant Registrar, Outgoing Art and Material Culture Loans. This position included international art courier trips that ranged from flying first class - a seat for her and a seat for the crated artwork - to riding in the cab of an art transport truck beside two drivers who always stopped on the overnight trips at less-than-clean gas stations for coffee and pie. Returning to Canada, Cydna taught art history and/or museum studies at the University of Calgary and Western University as well as guest curating part-time at Museum London. She holds an Honours Visual Arts BA from Western University and from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor a summa cum laude MA in Art History and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies.

Julie Bevan is a passionate leader and a believer in museums as places of belonging, imagination, and transformation. In 2022 she joined the team at Museum London as Executive Director. Before coming to London, Julie spent over a decade in Nanaimo, BC, on Snuneymuxw territory, where she served in roles at the City of Nanaimo and Nanaimo Art Gallery, collaborating with artists and teams to realize contemporary art projects and learning programs, revitalizing cultural spaces, and building organizational capacity and community. She has served in positions at Glenbow Museum (Calgary), Belkin Art Gallery (Vancouver), and the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa), and has been involved with Canadian Art Museums Director's Organization, BC Museums Association, and others, as part of a commitment to learning, mentorship, and contributing to a thriving sector. Julie earned a BA Honours from Carleton University in Art History (2004) and a MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies from the University of British Columbia (2006) and was a fellow at the Getty Leadership Institute (2017). She is raising two children with her partner Chad.
Kaylee is an accounting and finance professional with experience in audit, finance, and business operations. In 2020, Kaylee became a part of the finance team at Museum London. She started her career at Deloitte LLP where she became a manager in the audit practice. Kaylee has a Bachelor of Management and Organization Studies with an honours specialization in accounting with distinction from Western University. She received her CA, CPA designation in 2017.

Linda O'Connor is a senior fundraising leader and marketing professional that brings passion and purpose to her work. Linda joined the staff team as Head, Marketing & Development in the fall of 2022, but her connection to Museum London reaches back many years as a senior volunteer with the Museum London Board. Linda studied Sales and Marketing Management at the University of British Columbia and Fundraising Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has held senior marketing and development positions in literary publishing and higher education in Vancouver, Toronto and, most recently, London, Ontario. She was also a founding board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, London and Region. Linda lives in London with her husband, Mike and their two children, Grace and Joe.
