Murphy Veneer is pleased to have the opportunity to operate and grow the Foster veneer mill. Founded in 1909 as a logging and timber resources concern, family-owned Murphy has been in the veneer business since 1968... As a vertically-integrated veneer products company, Murphy is committed to providing a steady and reliable supply of veneer to its structural panel, hardwood panel, and engineered wood products mills. Current veneer operations are in Elma, Washington and White City, Oregon. The addition of the Foster veneer mill will help solidify the supply of quality veneer to our mills and veneer merchandising operations... Murphy remains, at heart, a veneer-based company with nearly fifty years of peeling experience, and looks forward to continued growth in the business.
