The British Skeet Shooting Association (BSSA) was originally incorporated on the 6th December 1987, to represent the interests of UK members of the NSSA... During late 1985 after the shoots had gained in popularity John Hewitt and Tony Myhill, who always shot together and were very close friends decided that the UK should have its own association. So the British Skeet Shooting Association (BSSA) was formed with both John and Tony becoming the directors and Donya Lucas taking the role of Treasurer / Secretary. The aim being to look after the interests of UK based NSSA skeet shooters.
