The German-American Institute Heidelberg (DAI) is a cultural institution committed to democracy and international exchange, with its focal point being translantic dialogue between Germany and the United States. Our goal is to foster exchange and interaction with people and institutions in America as well as to stimulate debate on contemporary topics... We are taking a short winter break. Our Kulturhaus will be closed from 21 December to 1 January. We will be back for you from 02.01.2025. We traditionally open our annual programme with the 35th Heidelberg Piano Week. From 2 to 12 January, we will be welcoming internationally acclaimed master soloists and highly gifted young talents who will perform pieces by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin and Maurice Ravel, among others. We wish you a peaceful festive season and a happy new year! We look forward to 2025 with you!
