Arlyn Alvior-Guese

With over 39 years of experience in nursing, Arlyn Alvior-Guese, BSN-RN, CDP, DNS-CT joined myPotential at Home Maryland as Director of Clinical Services. Before joining myPotential at Home, she served as Director of Nursing at Orchard Woods Health Center at The Village at Orchard Ridge. Prior to serving in this position, Arlyn was a charge nurse, clinical instructor and nurse manager that included supervision of a 500-bed Kuwaiti hospital during the first Gulf War (Desert Storm). She has provided quality patient care in various areas including telemetry, critical care, pediatrics, medical-surgical, out-patient surgery, education, long term care and dementia, sub-acute rehabilitation, hospice and home care/home support. Arlyn is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and was a National State Scholar of the Department of Education in the Philippines. Arlyn graduated from St. Paul University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has also completed credits towards her M.A. in Education Major in Management from the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos, also located in the Philippines. Cyndi Walters - CEO, President

Cyndi Walters was named president and chief executive officer (CEO) of National Lutheran Communities and Services (NLCS) in May 2021, assuming the position full time in August 2021. Prior to this role, she served as chief operating officer (COO) since 2016. Cyndi has served at NLCS in varying capacities for nine years; first as a consultant before joining as chief operating officer in 2016. Cumulatively, Walters has over 30 years of experience in the senior living industry including a strong background in strategically growing and diversifying the organization and an enhanced focus on operating as a senior-living system and leveraging its benefits and efficiencies. Prior to joining NLCS, she provided project management and advisory services to senior living organizations through Walters Advisors, LLC. She has also served in a leadership role at Presbyterian Senior Living in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and during her 19 years at KPMG (a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services), spent significant time as a partner and leader of their National Senior Living Advisory Practice. As president and CEO, Cyndi's focus is strategically growing and furthering NLCS' mission to honor, inspire and support choice and opportunity in partnership with older adults. Cyndi is an advocate for "aging with choice," which means supporting older adults in making their own choices in aging, whether it means moving to a senior living community or bringing in supportive services to their home. She is also an advocate for team members across the organization and leads a team dedicated to ensuring NLCS remains a Great Place to Work® and an employer of choice for those who have a heart to serve older adults. Cyndi is a native of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from York College of Pennsylvania.

Jill Halstead

Jill joined the myPotential at Home team in June 2014 as Office Manager and Human Resources Coordinator. In September 2016, Jill began her role as Business Office Manager and was promoted to Administrative Services Director in October 2017. Jill is originally from Buffalo, New York, but has resided in Martinsburg, West Virginia, since 2000. She holds a master's degree in Strategic Leadership and brings 15 years of experience in senior care, specializing in office management, human resources and billing.

Meg Lewis

Meg joined myPotential at Home in 2022 as the RN Home Care Manager for The Village at Augsburg−A National Lutheran Community in Baltimore, Maryland. Meg has always had a passion for working with older adults to help ensure they have the best quality of life possible. She is very excited to build relationships with the community at The Village at Augsburg in her new role. Meg received her master's in Human Services Management from McDaniel College in 2015 and obtained her BSN from Frostburg State University in 2020. Meg has over 10 years of experience in the human services field. She previously worked as a care coordinator for individuals with acute medical needs in Baltimore City and most recently worked as an RN at Good Samaritan Hospital prior to starting at myPotential at Home. Meg is originally from Dayton, Ohio, but has called Baltimore home for the past eight years.
