Prior to joining St. Vincent's, Given held the position of financial planning and analysis specialist with Sikorsky's Aerospace Services Division, and earlier a management position with American Medical Response. Prior to his finance career, Given worked in the IT field for 14 years. Given earned a bachelor of science in accounting/computer information systems graduating magna cum laude, and a master of business administration, both from Quinnipiac University. He is a member of Alpha Iota Mu IS Honor Society, and Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. In 2011, Fairfield County Business Journal awarded Given its "40 under 40" designation. Given resides with his wife and children in Monroe.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Gottschall joined the staff of St. Vincent's Medical Center in 1997 after serving as chief resident and clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut Health Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Gottschall has served in numerous hospital capacities at the Medical Center, including chair of the Board of Trustees, past president of the medical staff and medical director of the Seton Center for Women's Health. A fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association, Dr. Gottschall is also a board member of Women's Health Connecticut. In his private practice, he is a member of Alliance for Women's Health in Bridgeport, a division of Women's Health Connecticut. He served as chairman of the board of St. Vincent's Health Services from July 2013 - March 2016. His election represents the first time a physician had taken the helm, a seat that had traditionally been affiliated with religious sisters for more than a century. A Trumbull resident, Dr. Gottschall is married with four children.

Dr. Brian King

Dr. Brian King received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed an internship, residency and surgical research fellowship in General Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia and was appointed Chief Resident. Dr. King received numerous awards for teaching and research while in Virginia. Dr. King went on to obtain a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He has clinical expertise in all areas of Vascular Disorders and takes pride in practicing in an ethical and compassionate manner. Dr. King is an Assistant Professor, Dept of Surgery, at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Dr. King is a previous member of the Bridgeport Hospital Patient Care Review Committee. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. King is one of the managing partners of CT Vascular and Thoracic Surgical Associates in Fairfield and Shelton.

Dr. David Martin

Dr. David Martin received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Martin is board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has clinical expertise in all areas of Orthopedics and has special interests in Shoulder and Knee surgery. Dr. Martin leads the Fragility Fracture Committee at St. Vincent's and is the Orthopedic representative at the monthly Trauma Conference. He is a member of the AAOS, AANA and NESE organizations and a partner at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group (OSM) in Trumbull, Fairfield, Shelton, Stratford and Westport. OSM physicians are the team physicians for numerous athletic teams at local universities and high schools.

Dr. Grace Kim

Dr. Grace Kim received her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Dr. Kim went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is board certified in Infectious Disease and has clinical expertise in all areas of Infectious Disease with special interest in Infection Control, Antiobiotic utilization and HIV. Dr. Kim lectures for the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac and has received numerous teaching awards throughout her career. She is a past Division Chief for Infectious Disease and a past Co-Chair of the Infection Control Committee at St. Vincent's. Dr. Kim is a Board Member of the St. Vincent's Health Partners clinically integrated network. She is in solo practice in Bridgeport.

Eddy Castillo

Dr. Castillo received his medical degree from the University National Pedro Henriquez Urena, Dominican Republic. He completed an internship at New York Medical College and residency in Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center. Dr. Castillo went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York Medical College. Dr. Castillo is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is the Director of the Endoscopy Lab at St. Vincent's. He served as a member-at-large on the Medical Executive Committee from 2005 - 2009 and has been a member of the St. Vincent's Health Partners Population Health and Finance Committee since 2014. Dr. Castillo has clinical expertise in all areas of Gastroenterology and advanced endoscopic therapies with special interests in endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic resection. Jared Selter

Dr. Selter received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed an internship and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and was the recipient of the Frederick Sachs Award for outstanding resident. Dr. Selter stayed on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Yale. Dr. Selter is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He has clinical expertise in all areas of general cardiology as well as coronary and peripheral arterial interventions. Dr. Selter has a special interest in renal failure as it relates to heart disease as well as complex coronary interventions such as chronic total occlusion. He has participated in various research activities related to performance improvement, particularly with under-represented groups of patients. Dr. Selter is a member of our Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the past recipient of our St. Vincent de Paul Award recognizing a physician who goes above and beyond while exhibiting our Core Values. He comes to Hartford HealthCare from Yale New Haven Health where he has served as vice president of wellness and engagement for the Northeast Medical Group, the interim chief medical officer, vice president of performance and risk management and medical director of clinical and quality informatics for Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. O'Connell received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He completed both an internship and his residency in categorical internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. Mr. Jennings was well suited to take the helm of St. Vincent's Medical Center and the Fairfield Region having previously served as executive vice president for Yale New Haven Health and CEO of Bridgeport Hospital for eight years. A healthcare leader with great vision and passion for improving the health of the communities we serve, Mr. Jennings has deep expertise both regionally and industry-wide. Prior to his leadership of Bridgeport Hospital, Mr. Jennings was president of SSM St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis. He also served as president for the SSM St. Louis Heart Institute, which served six hospitals. Mr. Jennings has held executive positions with BayCare Health System in Florida, and the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tenn. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, and his Master's degree in Hospital Administration from The Ohio State University.
