North East Mobile Health Services was founded in 1999 and is Maine's largest ambulance service with over 22,000 EMS calls annually... We're able to accommodate a personal wheelchair or provide one. We offer transportation to nursing/rehab facilities, doctor's offices, dialysis, specialty day programs and even family events. Some insurance companies may cover wheelchair transportation... We work with local government and our health care facilities by participating in drills, housing crucial equipment and providing multiple types of transportation such as shuttles, vans and ambulances.
