The Bowls Saskatchewan Award of Merit was established to recognize continuing volunteerism by individuals and their contributions to their club over a number of years. Every year Bowls Sask selects three worthy recipients. Congratulations to Barry Hodge as our club's 2023 Bowls Sask Award of Merit Recipient! Barry has been a major contributor to the NLBC. Since joining the club in 2009, Barry has volunteered his time in assisting in the club's needs. From 2014 to 2022, Barry was chair of our Greens Committee. Barry also served on our Executive Committee as one of our directors from 2016 to 2018. In 2022, Barry has successfully completed the training to became a certified Bowls Sask Umpire Official. Through Barry's optimism and his passion for our sport, the Nutana Lawn Bowling Club has greatly benefitted from his invaluable contributions.
