Alexis Harrington offers everything from Microblading to permanent makeup services. She began her training with Image Artistry LLC in May 2016. She did Microblading for 9 months, but wanted more experience in shading techniques to compliment Microblading services. After a lot of research, she traveled to the Dominican Republic in September 2017 and trained under Rita Romo, world-renowned owner of Baltic Brows.
Amanda Carmickle is the owner at Ooh La La & Friends Salon. She has been working in the industry for 15 years. She is passionate about motivating and inspiring all of the girls that work around her and they continue to motivate and inspire her as well! Working with such a great team keeps us all on our toes and doing our best work! Amanda specializes in color, blonding and extensions. She also enjoys cutting and styling! She is constantly working on her education for herself and the salon staff. Amanda has attended training at Bumble & Bumble University several times in the past few years as well as other continuing education close by. Her goal is to make you look and feel your best while you are in her chair and to give you the knowledge and products to achieve the same look for when you go home! She is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. She truly enjoys the company of each client, returning and new!
Breanna Thompson has been a part of the Ooh La La team for 4 years. Known for her bubbly personality, Breanna loves meeting new people! With an incredible eye for detail, she offers anything from haircuts to colors. Her specialty can be found in blonding and color corrections. Erin loves all things in the beauty industry! She is new to Ooh La La but she has been doing hair out in Salt Lake for the past 4 years. Erin loves doing all things hair. She loves blonding, fun colors, perms, hair cutting, and styling. Hair health is very important to Erin and she will always make that her number one priority. She would love to meet you and is so excited to do your hair!
Jille has been doing hair for over 11 years. She went to school at Paul Mitchell The School in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had a great education there and learned that she has a true passion for hair! The longer she does hair, the more she discovers the importance of continuous education. She was given the opportunity to go take Bumble and Bumble in New York City and become a Network Educator for Ooh La La! Jillie loves what she does and she is so thankful to call hairstyling her job.
Judy has spent the last 6 months specializing in advanced treatments for the hair. She offers a variety from Olaplex (bond building, strengthening and repair) to hard water and color removal. Judy offers scalp and deep conditions and loves Brazillian Blowouts (smoothing treatments). Feel like your hair's lacking shine, needs repair, or you want to prep it for a big change? Kyndi was educated at Prime Cut Academy and has been practicing cosmetology and barbering since 2006. She has passion for refining her craft in order to better serve her valued clients. Kyndi's specialty is cut and color. Over the last decade she has attended numerous hair shows and continuing education courses in formal updo's, wedding styles and color trends. In addition to cutting hair, Kyndi has formal training in eyelash extensions (classic, hybrid and volume).
Kyndi re-entered the workforce after taking time away to raise her young family and will be available on Wednesday and Thursday each week. When she is not making her client's dreams come true, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children at their family's cabin.
McKenlie Haslem, also known as Kenlie or Hope has been with Ooh La La for 6 years! McKenlie can create beautiful nails from acrylic or gel. She can create any design that you desire. Shelli Graduated from Bon Losee Academy in Provo, Utah in 2004. She has been in the salon industry professionally for 15 years. She also practiced as an apprentice prior to her schooling in 2001. She strives to constantly add to her tool belt by attending frequent education classes and keeping up with what's current. Before becoming licensed in Cosmetology, Shelli had always worked in the customer service industry. She has a great passion for people and that includes all kinds-- kids, women, AND men (don't let those chandeliers fool ya, guys, we love you too!). She loves all her loyal clientele but has a special love for kids. Her favorite services to offer are personalized cuts, custom colors with an extra love for creating a natural look, and facial waxing. Raeven is a Licensed Nail Technician and a Senior at Uintah High School. She recently graduated the Beauty College. She is excited to start her career at Ooh La La and Friends. She loves meeting new people and creating the designs her clients are looking for. Raeven offers Acrylic, Gel, overlays, nail art, and Ombre' nails. You can find Raeven at the salon Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am -11am and 3:30pm- 6:30 pm. Saturdays from 9am- 3pm. Raeven is looking forward to expanding her hours after Highschool Graduation but is still taking the time to enjoy her Senior year.
Sami has been a stylist since 2004. She has had the opportunity to travel to the Matrix Academy in NYC as well as attend many other training classes. She has a passion for color and providing a creative and quality service for her clients. She believes in continued education and strives to expand her knowledge. She is excited to reconnect with past clients as well as meet new ones.
