Alan T. Brown

Alan T. Brown is the Director of Public Impact at the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Alan was injured in 1988, at the age of 20, when his neck was crushed by an ocean wave in Martinique. For nearly 31 years since the accident, Alan and his family have, through the Alan T. Brown Foundation, focused on improving the lives of people living with paralysis. The foundation provides peer mentoring, outreach, and fundraising to help others with basic needs like wheelchairs and ongoing medical care. Alan has lived in Florida for the last 22 years, where he has enjoyed a successful career in public relations and marketing. Mr. Brown is a nationally recognized speaker and advocate for the disabled, but his proudest accomplishment is becoming a father to his two young sons, Max and Sam.

Ed Gallagher

Ed Gallagher has had a long career as a high-tech executive for companies including Comcast, Level 3, Sprint, and Raytheon. In addition to serving on the Operation Onward board of directors, he is a member of the Advisory Board for The Manning School of Business, UMass - Lowell. He founded The Edward S. Gallagher Endowment which provides assistance to students pursuing a college education. Mr. Gallagher advises companies on marketing, business profitability, and growth strategies; he also mentors rising young executives on leadership and achieving career success.

Joseph K Goodwin

Job Titles:
  • Strategic Initiatives Executive at Bank of America
Joseph K Goodwin (Joe) is the Strategic Initiatives Executive at Bank of America. In that role he helps lead Bank of America's efforts around partnerships related to sustainability, to include the Sustainable Markets Initiative, the UN Global Investors for Sustainable Development, the Vatican Council on Inclusive Capitalism, and the IBC Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics. Joe is a graduate of Harvard and Harvard Law School. Joe enlisted in the US Army in the days immediately following 9/11. He was awarded the Bronze Star for exemplary performance in combat.

Maureen Toohey

Job Titles:
  • Managing Member of the Toohey Law Group
Maureen Toohey is the Managing Member of the Toohey Law Group LLC and the Deputy Executive Director of the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute. Maureen serves as the Corporate Secretary for a number of non-profit entities. As a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a veteran, Maureen is committed to ensuring that our veterans receive the medical care that they so rightfully deserve.

RAUL PEDRAZA

Raul is an Army veteran, a successful entrepreneur, a Major League Baseball team minority owner (World Champion Houston Astros), and the founder and chairman of Magno International, a global integrated logistics solutions company. In addition to a distinguished military career, Pedraza earned an MBA at Harvard Business School.
