Brendan has been with Paramount Partners since 2019, becoming a Partner in 2024. Mr. Coan specializes in the banking and retail real estate sectors and has successfully completed transactions across all of New England including: net-lease investment sales, vacant property dispositions, site selection, and retail leasing. Mr. Coan also provides Financial Institutions real estate advisory services such as branch network analysis and lease restructuring.
Mr. Coan is a member of ICSC (Innovating Commerce Serving Communities), Retail Brokers Network, and the Capital Markets Real Estate Network.
As a graduate of Babson College, Mr. Coan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. While attending Babson, Brendan captained the men's lacrosse team and was an East/West New England Region All Star Selection. He currently resides in South Boston, MA.
Matthew Giokas is a Senior Associate at Paramount Partners, and specializes in retail real estate representing national and regional chain restaurants and retailers, financial institutions and property owners.
Mr. Giokas has successfully completed market analyses and regional rollout strategies for financial institutions and retailers entering and expanding into the market, along with the subsequent implementation and brokerage of their lease and sale transactions. He has represented property owners in an array of assignments including project leasing, repositioning, pre-leasing, dispositions and acquisitions.
Mr. Giokas is a graduate of Boston University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing. He is a member of ICSC (Innovating Commerce Serving Communities), and Retail Brokers Network. He resides with his family in Nashua, NH.
Matthew is responsible for content design at Paramount Partners. He designs all property listing flyers, creates aerials and birds-eyes, and supports marketing efforts by overseeing the company's email marketing campaigns and website. Prior to Paramount Partners, Matthew worked in Marketing in Boston's mobile tech industry, helping brands like McDonalds, Starbucks, and Nike better engage with consumers through personalized engagements. He holds a BA in Advertising Communications from Suffolk University.
Matthew is an avid combat sports fan and cityscape photographer, and his photos having been featured in Boston.com, Hawaiian Airlines, NBC Boston, and others. Matthew currently resides in Braintree, MA.

Richard Pilla is the Founder, Manager and Principal Broker of Paramount Partners, specializing in the retail and banking sectors. Mr Pilla is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. He is a member of the Retail Brokers Network (RBN) Advisory Board, the Capital Markets Real Estate Network (CMRE), and ICSC (Innovative Commerce Serving Communities). He is also a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Bankers Associations, as well as a member of the Boston Metropolitan Area Planning Council.
Mr. Pilla's areas of expertise include tenant representation and site selection, property assemblage and dispositions, NNN bank branch investment sales, and bank development consulting. He has successfully completed numerous assignments throughout New England for banks and credit unions, regional and national retailers and restaurants, and educational institutions.
Community service includes having represented the Town of Walpole, MA on the Norfolk County Advisory Board and having served as a Representative Town Meeting member. Mr. Pilla also chaired Walpole's Old Town Hall Re-Use Committee. He recently became a Friend of the League School of Greater Boston which serves the social and academic needs of children with Autism.
Mr. Pilla received a Master of Science Degree from the University of Illinois/Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. He resides with his wife Lisa in Walpole, MA.
Sean Brown is Paramount Partners' newest team member. In launching a career in commercial real estate, Sean's primary responsibility is market research and analytics. Experienced in customer service, Sean will be working with Paramount's senior staff in investment sales, tenant representation and landlord representation. Prior to joining Paramount Partners, after graduating from Boston College High School, Sean went on to the University of Alabama to pursue a degree in marketing. Sean currently resides in South Boston, MA.
Walter is a Principal at Paramount Partners and focuses on land and building acquisition and disposition, and the leasing of commercial properties including office buildings, shopping centers, restaurants, gas stations and most recently solar farms.
Walter has been in the retail construction, development and real estate field since 1981. He has completed over 100 big box projects and during his professional career he has held positions at Star Market, Zayre Corp., B.J.'s Wholesale Club and The Stop and Shop Supermarket Co. Inc. as Director of Real Estate for the Boston Division.
Since joining Paramount Partners in 2008, he has completed a number of lease and sales transactions with companies including CVS, The Stop and Shop Supermarket Company Inc., Cumberland Farms, among others. He has also played a major role in the Stop and Shop Fueling Development Program.
Walter's years of contacts in the industry and his development experience and insight of sophisticated real estate contracts and leases has allowed him to assist his clients in marketing, deal negotiations, site design and expedited permitting which has saved them time, money while achieving impressive results for his clients.
Mr. Steinkrauss is a member of ICSC, South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Retail Brokers Network. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth College, and resides in Marshfield, MA with his family.
