Nurul Nadzirah

Nadzirah graduated with a Bachelors (Hons) in Occupational Therapy in Singapore Institute Technology (SIT)- Trinity College Dublin (TCD). She had the opportunity to assess and learn the occupational therapy practices (acute, community and primary care) in various settings in Dublin, Ireland. She embarked her career as an occupational therapist in acute care rehabilitation, which was where she harnessed her interest in the subspecialty that is hand and upper extremities rehabilitation (orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, trauma etc). She has amassed experience assessing and treating patients with a large variety of diagnosis, age and ethnic profiles. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to teach and empower not only her patients but also to budding medical practitioners. She was given the opportunity to conduct a teaching session on specific upper limb conditions and management, for medical students from Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine). She was honored to be given the privilege to collaborate with the renowned Clinical Associate Professor Teoh Lam Chuan from Tan Tock Seng Hospital to establish an upper limb rehabilitation protocol specific to Hand Replantation. During her free time, she enjoys baking, engaging in outdoor activities, playing sports, cycling and trekking. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, parents, friends and cherishing her role as a mother. Referred by her clients as meticulous and friendly, she has been sought after by clients (especially within the Mummy's community for common injuries like Mummy's Thumb aka De Quervain Tenosynovitis) and hand surgeons in the relevant field. Cheerful and optimistic, Nurul hopes to empower her clients to achieve their maximal potential in their roles at work as well as their daily activities as she believes that our hands are our utmost important tool to create opportunities in life.

Sharmala Pillay

Sharmala has been working as a physiotherapist for since 2005. She has work experience in community rehabilitation and is currently specialized in the sports and musculoskeletal field. Since 2010, she had worked in private physiotherapy clinics and has been providing home-based physiotherapy as well. Sharmala has a passion for treating athletes and dancers as well as conducting talks and workshops on injury prevention and management as well as proper office ergonomics. Most recently she has a new found interest in pre and post natal physiotherapy (women's health physiotherapy) and is looking to pursue that. Sharmala is always smiling, has a bubbly demeanour and is very friendly. She always goes above and beyond what she can provide for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys running and going to the gym, as well as enjoys spending time with her two children.

Tan Yi-Roe

After returning from her studies in Beijing, Yi-Roe has been actively involved in the TCM scene in Singapore. With her diverse working experience from charity clinics to established organisations, Yi-Roe has a rich understanding of the clinical profiles of TCM clients in Singapore. Being an active sportswoman who enjoys playing various sports such as Basketball, Badminton and Tennis during her free time, Yi-Roe has developed a special interest in sports-related injuries too. Her vision as a TCM Practitioner is to provide integrated care by working together with her Western counterparts, so as to achieve maximum client wellness and recovery.

Weiling Koh

Weiling has been working as a physiotherapist since 2018 after graduating from the University of Sydney. She has years of experience in treating a variety of conditions in diverse settings including a community rehab hospital, public hospital wards and outpatient clinics, and the intensive care unit (ICU). Currently, she specializes in sports and musculoskeletal conditions, and is particularly passionate in helping her patients overcome their challenges to return to activities they love. She is also certified in dry needling, Mulligan Concepts, and sports taping. Beneath her clinical role, Weiling is a dancer at heart. She has been exposed to dance since her primary school years, and is an active pole dancer/instructor who has performed and competed at multiple events. She is obsessed with the combination of performing arts and athletism, which has also led her to pick up aerial hammock and silks. In her spare time, she dabbles in calisthenics. Currently, she is excited to bring both her passions together through developing her expertise in dance and aerial/circus arts physiotherapy, and hopes to advocate for better health services for this wonderful community.

After graduation, she began her career at an acute hospital, where she developed a strong interest in treating finger, hand and elbow injuries and conditions. She enjoys fabricating splints and prescribes personalized hand exercises by considering each individual's lifestyle and activity demands during the rehabilitation journey, as she believes that there is no one-size-fits-all! Zita Sham

Zita graduated with a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore) in 2014 and started working in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital to serve her sponsorship bond. Later in 2015, she pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin, which was provided in Singapore Institute of Technology. After completion of her studies, Zita worked in the Day Rehabilitation Centre in Jurong Community Hospital for 6 years, where she focused on community rehabilitation for a variety of patients. Patients that were mainly seen consisted of post-operative, geriatric and neurological conditions. Zita also has a passion in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy and is looking to pursue that. She is also keen to provide home-based physiotherapy to reach out to those in need of her expertise. Aside from being a physiotherapist, Zita is also a dancer since 2011, who dedicates herself to learning about the limits of the human body first hand. She also loves calisthenics training, gymming and hiking in her spare time. In the dance studio, dancers also often reach out to Zita for education on injury prevention or rehabilitation post injuries.
