Camp San Luis Obispo

Camp San Luis Obispo is the original home of the California Army National Guard. It served as an Infantry Division Camp and Cantonment Area for the United States Army during World War II. The California Army National Guard maintains the California Military Academy at Camp San Luis Obispo for the use and training of members of California and other western state National Guard units, as well as for the use of the California State Military Reserve.

Jade Cove

Jade Cove attracts many who are in search of the nephrite jade that can often be found here. Although there is a sign along the highway, there is little in the way of improvements at the cove. A couple of pull-out areas along the highway offer space for parking and trails lead across the coastal bluffs and down to the water's edge.

Montaña de Oro

Montaña de Oro is a state park in California, United States. The park is located six miles southwest of Morro Bay and 2 miles south of Los Osos. The name "Mountain of Gold" comes from the golden wildflowers found in the park.

Stan Van Beurden

Stan Van Beurden Has Owned The Hofbrau For More Than 40 Years. Stan And His Father Opened The Hofbrau In 1971 After Running Several Eateries From Yosemite To Morro Bay. They Decided To Do A German Style Restaurant Complete With Lederhosen Worn By The Servers. They Served Hand-Carved French Dip Sandwiches Piled High With Slow Cooked Roast Beef, Homemade Clam Chowder And Hand Dipped Fish And Chips.
