I began my interest in turf at local courses as summer jobs. I worked my way from the bottom up, learning everything required to present the golf course each day. This challenge was very exciting to me, and led to my enrollment in the turf program at SUNY Delhi. During my college days I was rewarded with internships at some very top facilities, where I served for several years learning what it takes to maintain a high-end private club in the New York Metropolitan section. Additionally, I was able to be a part of the preparations for many professional event, including the US Open. This experience provided me with excellent knowledge on preparing a course for important events.
