The Research Center for Financial Smart Data at National Institute of Informatics is dedicated generating "Smart-data" from "Big-data" for the financial services industry. The Center aims to research and develop technologies for the analysis of financial information using statistical analysis, natural language processing and computer vision, with the goal of making predictions of future economic and social trends... Research Center for Financial Smart Data, National Institute of Informatics, is pursuing research and development for transforming Big Data into "Smart Data" that facilitates effective asset management. Our research is focused on statistical analysis and model building of economic and social phenomena, as well as automatic analysis of financial information by applying natural language processing and machine learning.
