RespiteBuddy.com is a free service for hospitals and discharge planners. Once a retirement community accepts your patient as a respite guest, they are then charged a nominal fee... Once your patient's intake form is completed, our system will display all of the retirement communities that have respite beds available that meet your patient's care, budget and location requirements. From this list, you can choose to send your patient's requisite criteria (our system omits their contact information) to as many or as few properties as you wish... If the search comes back empty, our system will ask you to revise your budget or location criteria (based on the available suites in the system). If you choose to update your patient's profile, a new set of matches will be displayed based on the revised profile.
