Roland B. Jarvis received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in History and Political Science from the Cleveland State University in 1980 and his Juris Doctorate in 1984 from the Case Western University School of Law, Cleveland, Ohio. ​He is admitted to practice law in several courts and they include The United States Supreme Court (1994), Eastern District of Pennsylvania (1993), Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (1992), Third Circuit of Appeals (1986), United States Virgin Islands (1986), Supreme Court of Ohio (1984), Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals (1999), Central District of Illinois (2002) and Southern District of Indiana (2004), District of Pennsylvania (1993), Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (1992). Roland is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, The Barristers Association of Philadelphia, U.S. Virgin Islands and the American Bar Association. Background Roland is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, a product of the Cleveland Public School system, and a participant in the "ABC" (A Better Chance) program, which provided him with scholarships to attend High School in Menasha Wisconsin based on academic achievement. Roland began his career as an Assistant United States Attorney - Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA (1990-1995), District of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands (1986-1990), District of Columbia, Washington D.C. - Special Assistant United States Attorney (1986), and District of the Virgin Island As a career prosecutor, Roland was responsible for coordinating grand jury investigations with various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies (Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration; U.S. Department of Treasury [Customs Service, Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service and Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms]; Immigration and Naturalization Service; Department of Health and Human Services; U.S. Postal Service; Pennsylvania State Police; and the Philadelphia and Virgin Islands Police Departments).
