Our model means that the ripple effects continue even after our work has been completed, because the competence and knowledge remain in the local community. Good examples of this are our Adolescent Empowerment Programme - Bonga; Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET); Community Manages Saving Groups (CMSG's) and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)... Our Head Office is located in Kristiansand, Norway, and has a coordinating, capacity building and fundraising role. Around 35 staff work in Kristiansand, and a total of 150 staff work for Strømme Foundation worldwide... In a mission to eradicate poverty, we have established a presence in Asia. We implement our programmes in disadvantaged and hard to reach areas of Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar. In 2023 we exited Sri Lanka, after being working here since 2001.
