Mark A. Skeans is the President of Skeans Development & Management, LLC, a commercial real estate firm established in 2014, specializing in Self Storage development, management, and commercial real estate brokerage services. Experience In 1999, Mark developed Mission Road Mini-Storage, a 62,400 square foot, 506-unit, state of the art self storage facility. It was the first climate-controlled (14.1% of G.L.A.) on the south side of San Antonio. The project hit 93% stabilized occupancy in the first 18 months. Mark has owned and managed the property since its inception. Mark A. Skeans graduated with a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A & M University in 1984. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award from the American Institute of Certified Planners 1984; and a four (4) time recipient of the Distinguished Student Award. Mark served as Co-Chairman, Student Council, College of Architecture, Texas A & M University 1982-1984.
