Adam S. Wilk - Chief Legal Officer, Shareholder

Adam Wilk is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., and a member of the firm's Legal Opinion Committee. He is a recognized expert in commercial finance, real estate, and business law whose national practice ranges from representing and counseling clients in large-scale transactional matters, to serving as general counsel for a wide variety of businesses.
Adam's clients include large estate holding companies, developers, management companies, hotels, assisted living facilities, trade associations, midstream service providers and marketing firms which he advises in the purchase and sale of companies and commercial real estate assets; the finance, refinance, and restructuring of credit facilities; and the formation of business entities for individuals and joint ventures.
Adam also serves as general counsel for numerous companies, assisting in wide-ranging operational matters including the draft, review, and negotiation of service contracts; the resolution of internal and third-party disputes; and other day-to-day matters.
Experience
Adam started his career at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP (now Bracewell LLP) where his practice focused on international real estate and finance transactions, and where he gained experience in all aspects of the construction, finance, restructuring, leasing, acquisition, and divestiture of commercial real estate assets. He also represented lenders and borrowers in the negotiation of loans, and represented lenders in the foreclosures of assets.
Adam later served as general counsel for Moody National Companies, a full-service commercial real estate firm, where he oversaw the acquisition of more than 40 commercial sites valued at over $725 million, including a 20-hotel, multi-state portfolio identified by Real Estate Alert as one of the five largest hotel transactions in 2007. Adam also helped to organize the firm's investment vehicles, including on-book partnerships, private placements, tenant-in-common/Delaware Statutory Trust structures, and a publicly registered real estate investment trust.
Since returning to private practice in 2010, Adam has continued to focus on complex real estate transactions, and to leverage his unique experience as general counsel to provide similar services to a variety of small and mid-size companies.
Anna Puff is an associate attorney at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where she represents clients in a broad range of litigation and regulatory matters, including contract disputes, real estate conflicts, construction law, and administrative proceedings. She also advises on government affairs and land development issues.
She practices out of the firm's Austin, Texas office in Travis County.
Anna first joined Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C. as a law clerk before becoming an associate, gaining hands-on experience with both the litigation and transactional teams. She has worked on matters involving business law, commercial litigation, real estate, and tax issues.
She previously worked as a legal intern at Capital Title of Texas, where she reviewed LLCs, LPs, Trusts, and POAs for good standing and title issues, drafted deeds and limited POAs for closing, and participated in litigation strategy discussions.
Anna also served as a legislative intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, and a legislative assistant at the Texas House of Representatives.
During law school, Anna was a member of the Order of Barristers, was active in Baylor Law's Mad Dog Mock Trial Tournament and Faegre Drinker Moot Court Competition as a competitor and a judge, and served as a Practice Court form grader assisting in legal writing instruction.

Charles Eppright is of counsel at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where he concentrates on business formation and representation, asset protection, estate and tax planning, probate, real estate, and construction law matters.
His practice includes assisting clients in structuring and formation of new entities as well as the acquisition and merger of existing entities, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies.
Experience
Charles has deep expertise in issues of taxation, liability and financing, including the best strategies to protect business interests. He also represents clients in bankruptcy litigation and tax litigation, drawing on years of experience as a former senior trial attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
Charles also advises individuals and families regarding all aspects of estate planning and probate, including preserving wealth, minimizing transfer taxes and exposure to creditors, coordinating beneficiary designations, and transferring assets to intended beneficiaries.
Additionally, he represents executors, trustees, beneficiaries and others in matters such as the formation and administration of trusts, will interpretation issues, breaches of fiduciary duty, trust management and investment, beneficiary designations, and probate proceedings. He also assists high net-worth clients in the reduction of estate taxes through aggressive tax planning.
Prior to joining Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C. in January 2001, Charles was a shareholder in Hearne & Eppright, P.C., where he practiced for 20 years. From 1972 through 1980, he was a senior trial attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service in Seattle, Washington.
Charles is an active community leader and volunteer, and has served as an officer and on the board of directors of numerous organizations including the Westbank Community Library; the Westlake Youth Soccer Association; the Westlake Chaparral Soccer Club; and the Westlake High School Chap Club.
Chris Stanley is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where his practice focuses on non-family civil litigation, representing businesses and individuals in civil disputes.
Chris has been a mediator since the early 1990's and has mediated hundreds of cases to a successful conclusion. He mediates all kinds of cases, including family, general civil, and construction issues. He has also been appointed by a district court to mediate a case involving pending criminal charges against a corporate entity.
Chris is a ​member of the City of Georgetown Planning and Zoning Commission (2021- ), President of the American Inns of Court-Williamson County Chapter (2022-23), director of the Georgetown Caring Place (2022- ) and a member of the Williamson County Bar. He has served as a mentor in Georgetown Partners in Education and as a board member of the Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center (President, 2013-2014). He has also been a director of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Commissioner of the Williamson County Emergency Services District 8, and is a past member of the Georgetown Noontime Kiwanis, the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, Baylor Strikers Rugby Football Club, Texas XXX's Rugby Football Club, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Harley Owner's Group.

Elizabeth A. McFarland is of counsel at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where her practice focuses on developing and administering plans for legacy protection and wealth succession for small business owners, private individuals, and families, with an emphasis on preserving asset value and minimizing tax liabilities and other financial risks.
Elizabeth joined Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C. in 2021 after owning her own law office for nearly 8 years.

Josh Schroeder is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where his practice focuses on assisting clients in wide range of transactional business matters, from formation to operation to sale, with a particular emphasis on real estate development.
Katie's practice focuses on corporate and real estate transactional matters. Dedicated to providing efficient external general counsel to a variety of small and mid-sized businesses, Katie's clientele includes commercial developers, management companies, construction companies, and mid-stream service providers, whom she assists with day-to-day legal needs, including entity formation, contract drafting and review, and purchase and sale agreements.
Katie previously worked for Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C. from 2013-2019. She has experience handling high-profile litigation, including class actions, mass torts and personal injury cases, and has advocated on behalf of thousands of clients in both state and federal courts.

Before joining Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., Kelsey was an associate at Guerra LLP (formerly Watts Guerra), where she worked on a variety of commercial and tort litigation matters.
In law school, Kelsey served as the Senior Articles Editor of the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal and Vice President of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. She was also a Legislative Representative for the Student Bar Association and on the Pro Bono Board.

Melissa Butz is an associate attorney at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where her practice primarily focuses on business and corporate law and commercial litigation, leveraging a background in civil litigation and contract review.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa was a staff attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the Texas Department of Public Safety, where she represented the Department at hearings with the State Office of Administrative Hearings, provided legal advice and assistance to departmental personnel on matters relating to driver and license suspension functions, departmental operations, law enforcement, statutory interpretation and criminal and civil litigation, and managed a docket of over 250 cases per month.
Melissa also served as an attorney for Integreon, where she managed teams of attorneys guiding strategic direction and tactical execution of litigation services for Fortune 500 companies. This included analyzing technical documents, contracts, communications and clinical data to develop a comprehensive litigation narrative, and building and nurturing relationships with clients' corporate counsel and internal partners to control costs, collaborate and deliver data-driven solutions.
During law school, Melissa worked as a law clerk for Morrison Mahoney LLP specializing in insurance defense. While there, she performed extensive research and drafted memoranda on a variety of complex substantive and procedural matters, including the scope of Massachusetts' Consumer Protection Act.
She also served as a legal intern at the Law Atlas Project, which supports work to increase the use of policy surveillance and legal mapping as tools for improving the nation's health.
Melissa was a member of the Boston University Law Review and won the Dean's Award in Civil Rights Litigation.
