Arron Albano

Arron Albano is a geologist with 10 years of exploration experience, primarily in British Columbia, Ethiopia, and Nevada. Arron has worked on a variety of projects involving grassroots and advanced-stage programs, and has experience on a variety of mineralization settings including epithermal, porphyry, orogenic gold, and VMS. He is currently a project geologist with an expertise in developing and implementing field exploration programs and project evaluation.

Ben Meyer - Secretary

Ben Meyer has over 10+ years experience in corporate compliance for publicly listed mineral exploration companies trading on the TSX-V and TSX stock exchanges. Ben has been a Paralegal since 2019, after completing the Legal Administrative Assistant and Paralegal programs at the University of the Fraser Valley with distinction.

Dan O'Brien - CFO

Dan O'Brien is the Chief Financial Officer for Sun Peak Metals and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. He is also Chief Financial Officer for a number of publicly listed exploration companies trading on the TSX and TSX Venture exchanges. Dan was previously a senior manager at a leading Canadian accounting firm where he specialized in the audit of public companies in the mining and resource sector.

David Awram - Chairman

David Awram co-founded Sandstorm Gold and is currently a Director and its Senior Executive Vice President. Through his contributions to capital raises, technical due diligence, and corporate development, David has been instrumental in growing Sandstorm Gold from a start-up to a leading mid-tier royalty company. Before starting Sandstorm, David served as Director of Investor Relations at Silver Wheaton Corp. (now Wheaton Precious Metals Corp.) where his role included corporate development and investor relations during Silver Wheaton's dramatic growth into a multi-billion dollar company. David is a graduate of the University British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.

David Daoud

David Daoud is a geologist with over 25 years of experience, primarily in Africa. David was the VP, Exploration for Sunridge Gold and led the exploration team to the discovery of the large Emba Derho VMS deposit in Eritrea and helped advance the four deposits; Emba Derho, Debarwa, Adi Nefas VMS and Gupo orogenic gold to a bankable feasibility study and the acquisition of a mining license. David was also part of the discovery team of the Bisha VMS deposit in Eritrea for Nevsun Resources. In addition, David has extensive experience in conducting exploration in greenstone hosted orogenic gold deposits in Mali and Brazil and was part of the exploration team that made the discoveries of Jericho and 5034 diamond mines for Lytton mineral and Mountain Province Diamonds in northern Canada.

David Middleditch

David Middleditch has managed and consulted on more than 50 development projects, ranging in scale from preliminary economic assessments to full scale feasibility studies. In 2011, he co-founded Blue Coast Research on Vancouver Island, and served as VP of Operations of the metallurgical testwork laboratory until 2017. Prior to joining Blue Coast, Mr. Middleditch was the metallurgical lead for the Lalor project at Hudbay Minerals and spent five years refining his leadership skills as Laboratory Supervisor and Project Manager at Xstrata Process Support (formerly Falconbridge) in Ontario. Mr. Middleditch has worked in many remote locations and operations globally, including extensive experience in East Africa. Now located in Ontario, he founded Libertas Metallurgy Ltd in 2017, and serves as Principal Metallurgist and President of the company, which provides mineral process consulting services to the global mining industry.

Doris Meyer

Doris Meyer is an officer and/or director of several mineral exploration companies trading on the AIM, TSX and TSX Venture stock exchanges. Ms. Meyer gained her early experience in the mining industry as Vice President Finance of Queenstake Resources Ltd. from 1985 to 2003. Ms. Meyer launched her private company Golden Oak Corporate Services Ltd. in October 1996 with Queenstake as her first client. Since that time, Golden Oak has provided publicly traded mineral exploration companies with administrative, financial reporting and corporate compliance services.

Greg Davis - CEO, President

Greg Davis was VP, Business Development for Sunridge Gold Corp from 2006 until the sale of the Asmara project in April 2016, during which time he directed financing efforts and raised over $50 million for the Company. The Asmara Project was advanced from exploration and development through acquiring a mining license. Prior to Sunridge, Greg was part of the discovery team at Nevsun's Bisha Project as on-site Project Manager. Greg has an extensive technical background in the mining sector, with over 20 years of experience in all levels of corporate and project management in various jurisdictions around the world.

Hayley Thomasen

Hayley is the founder of Pathway Ventures UK Ltd, a privately-held London-based venture capital / private equity firm focused on metals and mining. Previously, she was an Investment Analyst at Orion Resource Partners (UK) LLP and has held various positions as an exploration geologist in Canada. Hayley holds a graduate degree in Economic Geology from the University of Arizona, where she received the Newmont Scholar and SEG Foundation Graduate Student Fellowship, a BSC in EOSC (Geology) from the University of British Columbia, and a BA from McGill University.

Scott Ansell

Scott Ansell has an engineering background with over 25 years of expertise in project management, feasibility studies, permitting and mining finance. Scott was most recently VP Project Development for Sunridge Gold where he managed the completion of prefeasibility studies, feasibility and environmental and social studies for the Asmara Project in Eritrea, which led to the awarding of a mining license by the government of Eritrea. Scott was previously Technical Director of Studies and Manager of Consulting, Geology and Mining for AMEC Americas, located in Lima, Peru and Vancouver, Canada. He has previous experience in Africa with Nevsun Resources as Project Manager in Mali and Eritrea.

Stephen de Jong

Stephen de Jong has 10 years of experience in the mining industry and was most recently the President and CEO of Integra Gold from 2012 until its sale to Eldorado Gold Corporation in July 2017 for C$590 million. Under his leadership at Integra Gold, Mr. de Jong attracted a high-calibre team of geologists, engineers, entrepreneurs and consultants that advanced the Integra Gold's Lamaque project from an exploration property to a near-term production asset. He was instrumental in raising over $150 million during one the most challenging times in the mining sector. Mr. de Jong is set on transforming the mining industry using high-tech and highly-connected methods, and co-led the efforts behind the 2016 Integra Gold Rush Challenge and the 2017 #DisruptMining initiatives. Mr. de Jong holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University and is also a director of GFG Resources Inc.

Yordanos Melaku

Yordanos Melaku is a geologist who has worked with international exploration companies in Ethiopia and Djibouti for the past 10 years. Yordanos worked as exploration geologist throughout Ethiopia exploring for orogenic, VMS and epithermal style precious and base metals mineralization. Yordanos holds a BSc degree in Earth Sciences from Addis Ababa University. Yordanos joined the Sun Peak team in 2016.

Zelalem Yibrah

Zelalem Yibrah is a legal professional with over 15 years of experience. Mr. Zelalem headed the Mining and Energy Practices in one of DLA Piper Africa member firms, where he advised and assisted a host of multinational mining companies on matters involving Ethiopian jurisdictions. Mr. Zelalem graduated summa cum laude with a LLB from Bahir Dar University and studied for his masters at the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). Mr. Zelalem also authored the Ethiopian Chapter of the Mining Law on the 2016 International Comparative Legal Guide.
