Based just south of Norwich, Swardeston - one of East Anglia's leading cricket clubs - can trace its history back over 150 years and now runs four Saturday sides, two Sunday teams and a thriving youth section with teams from Under-9 to Under-19. 2014 saw a women and girls section added.Swardeston's 1st XI plays in the ECB Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League and has celebrated five consecutive title-winning seasons in from 2012 to 2016. The remaining three teams play in the Cecil Amey Norfolk Cricket Alliance.2016 saw Swardeston achieve glory on the national stage - winning the national NatWest Club T20 title; reaching the final of the Royal London National Club Championship; winning the Carter Cup for the sixth time; and winning the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League (EAPL) for the fifth season in a row... Swardeston is one of a number of clubs in Norfolk to have achieved the ECB's ClubMark accreditation.
