Our Club is open to all age groups, able and disabled. We provide a unique venue where everyone can enjoy the game of bowls whilst making and maintaining friendships along the way... Thaxted Bowling Club celebrated its golden anniversary in 2015. We are a mixed club affiliated to E.C.B.A & E.C.W.B.A, and Bowls England with teams playing in the N.W.E.B.A.. Steeple Bumpstead Bowls League, and Essex & Herts Seniors League. We also play friendlies for the more social bowler and as well as our own club competitions throughout the season... We have a six-rink lawn green and Clubhouse with a range of facilities. The Club House is fully accessible, with accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces
