Heather Weathers

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Development
As the Vice President of Development, Heather supports both CNM and local nonprofits in achieving their marketing, communications, and fundraising goals. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and marketing. Heather has led and worked for organizations of all sizes and a variety of mission spaces. Prior to joining CNM, Heather served as VP of Development at Lionheart Children's Academy and Camp Skylark. Previously, she worked as the Executive Director for HopeKids North Texas before moving to a national communications role to support all chapters in their fundraising efforts. Her early experience includes fundraising event management, grant writing for an NGO in Thailand, and overseeing community services and marketing for Atlantic Housing Foundation, an affordable housing provider operating 35 multi-family properties in six states. Heather earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Wendy Ogren

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Services
As the Vice President of Services, Wendy is responsible for ensuring quality service delivery to all CNM partners. She has over 30 years of experience working with nonprofits and congregations on program development, implementation, and evaluation. Wendy has led teams of internal and external stakeholders in children and family services, food insecurity, and early learning spaces. Before coming to CNM, Wendy served as the VP of Early Childhood Programs at ChildCareGroup, where she was responsible for providing high quality early learning experiences for approximately 1,500 low-income children through three service models. Previously, Wendy worked at Second Harvest Heartland, a large food bank in St. Paul, MN, where she led outreach programs for food insecure populations and capacity building efforts for community partners. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry and a Master of Science in Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas.
