Museu da Praia is a cultural not for profit organization created to preserve the arts and the historical and cultural traditions of Ponta de Mangue Beach. The objectives of this organization are to reclaim and preserve cultural traditions, to promote art exhibitions and events, to produce cultural and educational activities for the local community, to promote ecological awareness about the area and to promote international cultural exchange
