Amanda L. Parsons joined Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC as Of Counsel in November of 2014. Prior to joining Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC, she worked as an Associate with a small Stoneham law firm, focusing her practice in the areas of family law, wills, estates and probate administration. Attorney Parsons also worked as a contract attorney for John Mason of Mason & Goldman in Belmont, Massachusetts and as a mediator in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General. Attorney Parsons continues to focus her practice primarily in the areas of family law, including divorce and post-divorce matters involving custody, child support, parenting time, alimony and modification of existing judgments. Attorney Parsons also handles probate matters including unlawful debt collection practices and foreclosure prevention.

Barbra I. Black - CEO

Barbra I. Black has been practicing law for over 30 years and is a founding member and the managing partner of Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC. Attorney Black was a former partner at the Boston, MA law firm of Burns & Levinson, LLP, where she practiced for over eight years in the firm's Divorce and Family Law group. Prior to that, she was a solo practitioner for several years, focusing her practice in the area of domestic relations litigation. Attorney Black concentrates her practice in the areas of divorce & family law in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Attorney Black has extensive litigation and trial experience and handles a variety of family law cases involving complex and diverse issues. Attorney Black's divorce & family law practice includes, but is not limited to, prenuptial & postnuptial agreements, joint petitions for divorce, contested divorce actions, same sex divorce actions, custody and or child support cases and modification and contempt cases. Ms. Black is a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Bar Associations and the Massachusetts Family and Probate Inns of Court. She is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and Brandeis University. Attorney Black has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" for the past several years, as published in Boston Magazine.

Jonathan Meidanis

Jonathan Meidanis joined Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC as an Associate in February of 2018. He is a graduate of the Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law, where he served as a staff editor on the SMU Science and Technology Law Review. Prior to joining Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC, he clerked for the New Hampshire Ninth Circuit-Merrimack where he observed family law cases and rulings. He was also a contract attorney for American Tower Corporation where he practiced real estate representing American Tower in multi-million dollar real estate transactions and in the successful integration of a billion dollar portfolio. Additionally, he practiced real estate and probate and estate planning in his solo practice. Attorney Meidanis focuses his practice primarily in the area of family law, including divorce and post-divorce matters involving custody, child support, parenting time, alimony, and modification of existing judgments.

Lisa Ura Bollinger

Lisa Ura Bollinger was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire. She found herself drawn to the law from a very early age. Directly out of high school, she started training and working in law firms as a paralegal to gain valuable background and experience to use in her future law practice. Attorney Bollinger graduated from Notre Dame College and later from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law.) After graduation from law school she was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar and the US District Court (1st District NH). Attorney Bollinger has been practicing law since 2002. Attorney Bollinger's practice will complement the Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC Family Law practice and add Estate Planning, General Litigation and Bankruptcy to the firm's offerings. Attorney Bollinger continues to call Southern New Hampshire her home and is happy to be raising her children there along with her husband, and assisting the community in her law practice.

Patricia M. LaFrance

Patricia LaFrance was a felony prosecutor from 2001-2017 and has transferred her extensive trial and advocacy skills developed over 16 years of working with victims of violent crimes into zealous client advocacy as a civil litigator. From 2013-2014, she served as the elected Hillsborough County Attorney. She has handled hundreds of cases and conducted dozens of jury trials, including expert depositions and direct examination in the fields of nuclear and mitochondrial DNA, tool mark, drug analysis, fingerprint, computer forensics, serious bodily injury including broken bones and head trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Notable cases include convictions for Negligent Homicide, Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, First Degree Assault of an Infant, and Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault. Attorney LaFrance is also a highly sought after speaker and trainer. She has provided dozens of trainings for local police departments, and taught a supervisory class at Police Standards and Trainings from 2011-2015. Attorney LaFrance has been a panelist in conferences dealing with Domestic Violence, Child Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking. She has appeared in round table discussions with national political figures Gabby Giffords and Jeb Bush on issues of gun safety and domestic violence; in addition to television, radio and video appearances on the topics of Child Sexual Abuse, Animal Abuse, Human Trafficking and Constitutional Rights for Victims of Crime. She was a core member of the 2014 training team to implement the new Domestic Violence law throughout the State and from 2014-2018 was an adjunct professor at Nashua Community College, teaching Criminal Procedure and Criminal Law. She has also appeared numerous times in front of the New Hampshire Legislature to testify on bills dealing with Domestic and Sexual Violence and protection for victims of crime..
