YORKSHIRE MOUNTAINEERING CLUB

The club was formed way back in 1941 as The junior Mountaineering Club of Yorkshire (JYMC) and was subsequently changed to the Yorkshire Mountaineering Club in 1952... Membership of the club is open to anyone with an active interest in the outdoors. Members' interests include mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing, running, walking and cycling... The club meets on most weekends/Sundays for walking or climbing and midweek at local outcrops and climbing walls.
