For many families the funeral ceremony used to be a tradition of sorts. They always used the same local funeral home, had a viewing and a committal service. There was never any discussion on whether or not to have a ceremony. They viewed it as something that should be done and it was important to them. Today's younger consumers with their busy lifestyles see no value or importance in the funeral ceremony. It's just something that costs money and takes away from their valuable time. We as funeral directors make sure that every service and ceremony that we arrange is unique, memorable and personal. No "cookie cutter" services. We need to show that having a funeral ceremony is important and that there is value in having it. We believe that the funeral ceremony is a way to honor our dead and to keep their memory alive in our hearts...
