Curtis was born and raised in Greenville and graduated from Presbyterian College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Prior to starting in the insurance industry in 2010, Curtis worked in the hospitality operations business. He helped several upstate groups expand and open new concepts throughout the state. His hospitality background is what drives his "Service First" focus when working with clients.
Before starting with TWIA Insurance Agency, Curtis was a partner with another agency in the upstate. Curtis holds his CIC, CLCS, CWCC and CBIA designations and believes that continuing education is critical in an industry that is always changing.
He is married to his wonderful wife Hope, and they have two daughters, Grace and Adelle. Curtis enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and going to Clemson football games.
Forrest was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management in 2014. After spending nearly a year in insurance working on the personal side, he decided to switch over to commercial lines in April of 2018. After 2 years working with an affiliate agency in Beaufort, Forrest made the move back to the Charleston area to work at Summerville's TWIA Insurance Agency in January of 2020. On the weekends, he can be found spending most of his time outdoors and enjoying hunting, fishing, boating, and the occasional round of golf. Forrest is also a huge South Carolina sports fan and loves to cheer on the Gamecocks during all seasons and all sports. Aside from the outdoors and sports, Forrest loves to spend time with his girlfriend, friends, and family, which includes being the best uncle to his niece and nephew.
Garrett has been with the organization since 2005 after graduating with a Risk Management and Insurance degree from the University of Georgia. He holds Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. Garrett has made a commitment to give back to the community by serving on several non-profit boards. He is married to Caroline and has two beautiful children and two dogs. When not working, Garrett enjoys being with his family, going out on the boat, hiking in the NC mountains and going on long runs (especially after the UGA Football team loses!). Garrett believes that Kinghorn/TWIA is one of the best places to work as we are driven to be better every day and are all friends in and outside of work.

Jack was born and raised in Beaufort, SC and upon graduation from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina started working for the TWIA Insurance Agency enterprise. Jack currently holds his Certified Builders Insurance Agent designation as well as Certified Insurance Counselor designation and is actively committing time to continue his insurance education. Jack and his wife Katie live in Summerville, SC with their daughter and Golden Retriever, Harper. Jack enjoys watching Gamecock athletics, spending time on the grill and in the kitchen, golfing, jogging, and spending time outside in the Lowcountry with his family and friends. Jack is also involved in several community and business organizations, including; the Chamber of Commerce, BNI, Summerville Exchange Club, and the South Carolina Independent Agents and Brokers Young Agents committee. One of the reasons that Jack enjoys working at TWIA Insurance Agency is because of the familial atmosphere, dedication to the client and their businesses, and the drive to always better those around them.
Jay graduated from Christ School in Arden, NC in 1990. He spent the next four years at Presbyterian College, in Clinton, SC, where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration.
Jay joined Kinghorn Insurance Agency of Beaufort in July 1995. He has been part of the commercial team, where he became the manager in 2000. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation in 2003, and in 2004, was asked to become a partner in the firm. Jay is now the senior managing partner for the agency.
He is married to Megan Taylor, of Beaufort, and have 2 wonderful children, Katherine and Langdon. Jay's family attends The Parish Church of St. Helena. He has been an active Rotarian with The Rotary Club of Beaufort for over 20 years where he was a board member for 15 years. Jay has also been very active with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of SC serving in a number of capacities which include chairing mutiple committees, Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman of the Board and currently as State national Director. He has been a member of and chaired an agent's advisory councils for Selective Insurance Company, State Auto, Nationwide Insurance and Sagesure. He is also a past board member for the Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce as well as Beaufort Academy. He continues to volunteer with the Northern Beaufort County United Way Annual Fund.
Jay enjoys being outdoors, hobby farming, boating and spending time at the Whammy Bar.

Laura R. Aiello was born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina. In 2017 she graduated from Wofford College with a degree in Psychology and started at Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort shortly after. Laura currently holds her CISR designation and is focused on continuing insurance education each year. Laura is a Commercial Lines Account Manager and continues to serve in the role for Kinghorn insurance of Beaufort as well as our sister agencies since they opened, TWIA Insurance Agency in Summerville, South Carolina (2018) and Greenville, South Carolina (2020). Laura and her husband, Raymond, live in Beaufort South Carolina with their daughter Emma Frances. They both graduated from Beaufort Academy, where they first met in middle school. Laura and her husband enjoy all that Beaufort has to offer, appreciating every moment on the water, spending with family and serving their community. She is very thankful to be a part of all three agencies who main focus is working as a team, continuing education and developing knowledge, and providing top notch service to our clients.
Melissa is a native of Georgia but moved to Beaufort in 1989 and considers herself a local now. Before joining the Accounting Department at Kinghorn she worked in the banking industry for 16 years. Melissa is a proud mom of her daughter Taylor who is currently studying to become a doctor. Melissa's favorite thing about living in Beaufort is the beautiful drive to work every day that never gets old. She enjoys attending local festivals and farmer's markets and traveling to Maine or Disney every chance she gets.
Paige is a South Carolina native, living in the small town of Hampton. She has been in the insurance industry since 2010 and enjoys working with everyone in the beautiful areas of Beaufort, Summerville and Greenville. Outside of work, Paige enjoys reading, Gamecock football and spending time with her daughter!
Both personally, and professionally, Reanna has devoted her days to helping the people around her, which enables her to greet and assist clients as our Admin Support Specialist. Reanna is the first face you'll meet, and the last smile you'll see. Humbled to receive the award for 2021 Employee of the Year, she strives to uphold the attributes for this honorable mention each and every day, no matter the year. She never saw herself in the insurance world, but now that she's here at Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort, she can't imagine working anywhere else.
Sarah is a local of the area. The majority of her insurance career has been assisting clients within the business community of Beaufort and Jasper Counties for the past 30+ years. When the opportunity arose to move back to Kinghorn Insurance, she jumped at the chance to work in the Accounting and Operation division. As the company expands into new areas of South Carolina, she is excited to be a part of this amazing group of people and can't wait to see what is ahead. She enjoys the outdoors, reading and the river life with her husband, Jimmy.

Sheila made Beaufort, SC her permanent home in 1990. As a military dependent, she lived in different coastal towns along the Southeast inspiring her love of salt water and live oaks. She joined our team as a Personal Lines Account Manager in 2001. She has served in various roles over the years and currently manages our Personal Lines Department. She is also a member of our Social Media Team and Agency Council. Her favorite things about our organization are the family focused values, commitment to team-building, and working in our downtown Beaufort location.
While away from work, Sheila loves spending time with her husband and two children. On the weekends, you can find them boating, camping, cooking, or enjoying a family game night. She serves in her Church, enjoys volunteering in her spare time, and is always working towards her next gallon milestone as a blood donor.

Taylor was born and raised in Beaufort and has found her way to Charleston, SC. Upon graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Hospitality degree, she discovered a way to pursue her passion of serving and helping others through the insurance industry. After several years in Greenville, she followed her heart back to the Lowcountry and reconnected with Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort, where she interned after college. When the opportunity presented itself, Taylor hopped on board with Kinghorn's sister agency as the Personal Lines Producer of TWIA Insurance Agency. On the weekends, you'll find Taylor at the beach, in the boat, traveling, or hanging with friends and family.
Originally from North Carolina, Thomas graduated from UNC-CH (or as the rest of the country calls it, Carolina) with a BS in American History and has been in the insurance industry since 2013. Thomas comes from a non-insurance background having worked in the custom boat building industry as well as in the construction material and equipment rental fields. Thomas managed a small business for a number of years giving him a unique perspective which helps him relate to business owners' concerns regarding commercial insurance, having dealt with it on the consumer side himself. In 2018, Thomas earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and is a partner in the firm. He is married to his wonderful wife Ainsley, and they have two sons, Berry and Archie. Thomas enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, fishing, and hunting. Outside of work he is involved with his church and a board member of various non profits.

The Midwest is where Timothy spent the first several decades of his life having grown up in Wisconsin and attending Southern Illinois University where he received a bachelor's degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture. The long cold winters played a key role in his move to Charleston, SC in 2008 where he spent several years in the tech industry before beginning his career in the insurance industry. Over the past 11 years, Timothy has found his passion helping clients navigate the coastal property, hospitality, and risk management realms of the industry. When Timothy is not crunching rate numbers, reviewing contracts, or completing on-site inspections, you can find him spending time outdoors with his wife and children (specifically fossil hunting!) or volunteering his time for local non-profits.
