THE VANCOUVER BAR ASSOCIATION

The Vancouver Bar Association (VBA) is an over 1000 member strong organization serving lawyers and the legal community in the Vancouver area. Since 1892, the VBA has sought to promote and foster collegiality and civility among its members, and at the bar. To that end the VBA hosts several annual events that give its members and the judiciary the opportunity to gather as colleagues and friends; promotes legal education, training and ethics; engages in charitable giving; and publishes the Advocate, a legal journal published bi-monthly and distributed to all lawyers in British Columbia... The Vancouver Bar Association is a non-profit organization serving 1,000-plus lawyers in the City of Vancouver and beyond... We maintain strong relationships with the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of British Columbia, and all levels of the judiciary in British Columbia;
