Alexandra is the owner and director of Villas Barbados and Exceptional Villas. She set up the company in 1992 focusing on exclusive villa rentals for discerning clients. Alexandra is passionate about luxury travel and Barbados is her favourite destination.

Jasmine Villa at Mullins Bay is a recently renovated 3 bedroom town house sleeping up to seven people located in the Mullins Bay Development. Jasmine Villa Number 6 at Mullins Bay has a small private pool and access to a larger communal pool. It has an unparalleled location literally 30 seconds walk from Mullins Beach. In addition all our guests staying at Jasmine have access to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club which is a short drive away.
Jasmine at Mullins Bay has the best of both worlds. It is unbelievably close to the beach as well as having its own private pool, communal pool and private garden.
Another lovely feature of Jasmine is that on the third floor, there is a wonderful roof terrace with super sea views over Mullins Bay. It is a nice private space to sunbathe, read a book, enjoy a cocktail or just chill out.
The living area has a lovely relaxed feel with tones of whites and creams, a beautiful bright blue rug and some very nice art work. It opens directly via double doors onto the terrace and garden. Our guests at Villas Barbados particularly love eating outdoors on the terrace overlooking the pool. There is a nice modern separate kitchen in Jasmine.
The location of Jasmine to Mullins Beach is unsurpassed. It is literally 30 seconds across the road. The beach here is totally pristine with really superb swimming conditions. It is also possible to take wonderful long walks along Mullins and onto Gibbs beach. In high tide, you might get your knees wet! Our guests can also hire beach beds at Mullins Beach. In addition there is a whole range of water sports available at the beach. The restaurant at Mullins is well renowned for great food and cocktails in a barefoot casual environment.
There are three fully air-conditioned bedrooms at Jasmine. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a King bed with a very nice terrace and view to the sea. The second bedroom also on the first floor has 3 single beds and also has lovely sea views. The third bedroom which has a King bed is located on the ground floor with direct access to the garden and terrace. Bedroom two and three share a bathroom. Jasmine is therefore able to comfortably sleep up to 7 people making it a great choice for families or small groups.

Mango Bay has been designed for lavish entertaining, complemented by a five-star service provided by the friendly villa team, including a butler, a chef/cook, a laundress, a housekeeper and night security. With a separate guest cottage, there are multiple formal and casual living and dining areas that can accommodate all guests comfortably - amongst them a large and elegant living room which opens out onto the sunny terrace, a graceful dining pavilion overlooking the pool, and an enchanting dining pagoda with its' beautiful coral stone table seating fourteen, which is accessed by a quaint pathway through the foliage to a hidden away corner of the garden facing the sea.
Mullins Beach, to the north of Westshore, is the location of one of the best beaches on the island as well as the best beach bar. Much closer to Westshore, just 2 minutes away is the Lone Star Restaurant which is one of the best and most popular on the island. Ju jus beach bar is also close and great for a casual lunch. Reeds Bay is a beautifully quiet beach, with soft sand and calm waters ideal for swimming. There are mature trees bordering it, providing lots of shade and making this a lovely spot for picnics on the beach. It has all the right ingredients for that idyllic Bajan beach - the warm sunshine on the white sand, surrounding nature and peacefulness that the sea brings. This is the perfect location for those who are in need of some serious relaxation.
As a guest of this villa, you will be superbly positioned, just a few minutes' drive from Speightstown, a charming and vibrant center of activity featuring many historical buildings and 15 minutes' drive from Holetown, where you will find some of the best shopping in Barbados. Holetown also offers a fine selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, duty free shopping as well as many high-end stores and boutiques to browse. There are also two lovely hotels nearby, Glitter Bay and the Royal Pavilion, both no more than a five minute drive away.
