Joseph H. Sparacino

Joseph is a seasoned litigator. As of May 12, 2019, he will have reached thirty years of practice. He has been practicing extensively in family law throughout his career. He has handled all manner of family law cases from child support issues and contested parenting hearings to divorces. He is also very knowledgeable regarding Bankruptcy, Consumer Matters, Real Estate Transactions, Traffic cases, and Criminal Defense. Joseph attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1985. Joseph attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. While in law school where he studied Trial Advocacy and worked as a law clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County. Joseph obtained his Juris Doctor in 1988. Joseph has extensive experience representing clients throughout the State of Illinois; beginning his career in Peoria, Illinois and has been a "circuit riding attorney" ever since. Joseph first worked in the workers' compensation area then began his career helping clients with their family and divorce issues. While spending most of his working days in the divorce and family courts Joseph also developed knowledge of a wide range of other matters which strengthens his ability to see how these issues relate to his primary concentration in family matters. Additionally, he served as General Counsel to the Utica Fire and Ambulance District while working for a firm in Ottawa, Illinois. In his spare time Joseph enjoys camping, and spending time with his wife and daughter, waiting for every spring to spend his free time in the woods and fresh air. Katherine C. Adams

Having grown up in this very law firm, Katherine Adams knew from a young age that she wanted to be an Attorney. Throughout her baccalaureate studies, this interest was affirmed and reaffirmed. Over time, it became more and more clear that Family Law is what Katherine was meant to do as Family Law and Elder Law are the fields where she feels can do the most good for people and let her natural talents shine. Katherine completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Iowa in 2008 with a Major in History and a Minor in Religious Studies. While attending St. Thomas University for her Juris Doctor, Katherine also completed a Masters of Science in Marital and Family Therapy and received both post-graduate degrees in 2011. During her studies at St. Thomas University, Katherine interned for a Family Law Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit's Administrative Office of the Courts, which afforded her invaluable behind the scenes experience and reaffirmed her interest in Family Law. Katherine also interned for a Probate Judge in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she discovered her passion for working with Elder Law issues. While completing her Masters degree, Katherine co-facilitated and provided individual therapy for a group of low-income, post-diversion female teens through Girl Power and a group of low-income, Hispanic immigrant families through Families and Schools Together. Katherine's exposure and experience with these groups developed her ability to create problem-solving alternatives in order to achieve optimal resolutions for different individuals and families. Having grown up in The Law Firm of Wendy R. Morgan and with her solid educational experience, it was natural for Katherine to join the Firm in November 2011 as an Associate Attorney. Katherine is highly organized and a hard working and zealous advocate who is passionate about helping others and using her skills to help good people in some of the hardest times of their lives.

Rodney C. Adams

Rodney C. Adams teamed up with Attorney Wendy R. Morgan, as administrator, in 1986 to assist in creating the Law Firm of Wendy R. Morgan. Rodney still holds that position today. In his youth, Rodney was involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers and Civil Defense. Upon graduating from Morton West High School in Berwyn, Illinois, his working life started in The United States Army, where he was a member of the Military Police Corp. His posts included Fort Carson Colorado and Augsburg, Germany. Following his Honorable Discharge, he moved to California, where he attended college. He was then hired by The Internal Revenue Service (Special Procedures Staff) Technical where he worked on a pilot program to see if the US Treasury can use this new thing coming out called the PC. After assisting in training other agencies how to use a PC, missing Chicago, and wanting to work in private industry, Rodney returned to Chicago and opened Benjamin's Restaurant, Lounge and Catering in Naperville. Shortly after that, he met Wendy Morgan, who was developing her law practice. After starting their family, Rodney sold the restaurant and officially became the Administrator of The Law Firm of Wendy R. Morgan LTD. In his spare time in the 1990's, and later as Chairman of the Center for Global Security, Rodney assisted Brigadier General Roland Pritikin (Ret) on research referencing various scenarios, on whether mankind can survive. Rodney is author of the Final Warning and Co-author of Retrospect 2020. Rodney Adams joined the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights Sunrise in 2004, and served as its President during Rotary Year 2009-10. As the result of a merger, Rodney joined The Rotary Club of Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights, so that his home club would include both his residence and his business. Today, the Rotary Club is called River Cities (Mount Prospect-Des Plaines-Prospect Heights). Other club offices have included Vice-President, Service Chair, and Membership Chair. He's been recognized by his club as Rotarian of the Year, is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Major Donor, a member of the RI-711 Club and District Governor in 2015-16. The expertise he gained with the Treasury Department in data collection has been well utilized by 6440. Prior to being District Governor, he served three years as an Assistant Governor, and during his three years in that capacity, worked at various times with Schaumburg AM, North Chicago, Lake Forest/Lake Bluff, Mt. Prospect/Prospect Heights, and Arlington Heights Noon. He has also served Rotary District 6440 as Membership Co-Chair, Membership Chair, Visioning Team Member, District Governor Nominee (DGN), responsible for Youth Services, and Chair of The Membership Task Force. Among his accomplishments are making 6440 the first District to have 100% integration between ClubRunner and R.I., the updating of the District's data bases, and the development of a Youth Service team. Rodney reinstated Friendship Exchanges for our Rotary District. Our First Friendship Exchange was with Rotary District 3272 in Pakistan. He's attended 10 Rotary International Conventions, the Central States Youth Exchange Summer Conference, was on The Midwest PETS Steering Committee, speaker at numerous professional and Rotary events and has been a frequent speaker at numerous Rotary Clubs.

Wendy R. Morgan

Wendy R. Morgan is the founder and owner of The Law Firm of Wendy R. Morgan. Wendy has been practicing law since 1981 and has been concentrating in Family Law since 1986. Wendy has served as a lecturer for both legal and non-legal organizations in the State of Illinois, Nationally and Internationally. Wendy has written several articles on custody, paternity and other areas of family law. She has frequently has appeared on both cable television and radio on panels and discussions on family law topics. Many of her trials have been published in Divorce Digest. Wendy is an active member of numerous professional and legal organizations, some of which are listed below. Wendy has been elected President of the Rotary Club of Mount Prospect/ Prospect Heights for the 2013-14 Rotary years and has been previously secretary of her Rotary club. Wendy has been both President and Secretary of the Rand/Olive Condominium Association and President of the Northwest Symphony Serenade Association. Wendy holds a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Wendy received extensive training in voice and performs both as a soloist and in various local and religious choir groups and with the Rotary World Choir.
