WOODLANDS COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

The curriculum in Wales is changing and we are excited to share with you what this will look like at Woodlands Community Primary School... The school was built in September 1977 at the foot of the mountain overlooking the town of Cwmbran, the hills of Gwent and the Bristol Channel. The school is comprised of 10 classroom areas from Nursery to Year 6 arranged around two school halls. In addition, we have a Learning Base where children with additional needs receive an individually planned curriculum as well as having access to mainstream classes in order to practise their skills... Woodlands Community Primary School provides a safe, friendly and productive education centre for Cwmbran in the Torfaen area in South Wales. We aim to create an effective and happy learning environment for all children, as well as hosting many different after school clubs for our children.
