Our goal is to improve rural livelihoods at the household level through sustainable management of natural resources by communities in Zambia... The Zambia Community-Based Natural Resources Management (CBNRM) Forum was established in 2004 and formally launched on 12 th August, 2005 by the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources (MTENR). The Forum is member based Organization and an umbrella organization for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and a member of the NGO Association of Zambia and works with individuals or institutions with interest in or supportive of Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) in Zambia. As such, it provides a platform for CBNRM discourse, debate and development promotion of sustainable livelihoods and poverty reduction through natural resources management with focus of working with women, men and youths in these community structures in Community Resources Board, Community Forest Management Groups, Fisheries Groups, Village Action..
