Annette qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and is a highly regarded and sought after specialist family and divorce lawyer, assisting clients in all aspects of Family Law, including Divorce, Children, Financial issues, Domestic violence and Cohabiting couples.
Ben is a Conveyancing Executive and currently qualified to Associate level with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, through which he will become a fully qualified lawyer within the next two years, having already completed three years of study.
Ben has worked solely in residential conveyancing for 5 years and acts for a variety of clients, first-time buyers, families on the move, dealing with both sales and purchases, transfers of equity and leasehold sales, to date ranging from a value of a couple hundred thousand pounds to two million pounds.
As well as excellent technical knowledge, Ben prides himself in having meticulous attention to detail and a desire to provide excellent client care.

Fiona, our Conveyancing Manager, is a senior member of our conveyancing department and has represented thousands of clients for more than 30 years with their property transactions.
Fiona prides herself in the service delivery offered to her clients, many of whom have given glowing feedback online as a testament to the service she provides.
Fiona acts for all sorts of clients including first-time buyers, families on the move, property investors, small developers and more. She deals with a wide range of properties from one-bedroomed flats through to executive family homes and country estates.
As well as excellent technical knowledge, she is well known for her patience, kindness, sense of humour and meticulous attention to detail. Most of her work comes from clients she has acted for before or as a result of recommendations by those clients. In some cases she still acts now for clients she acted for 30 years ago which she considers to be a privilege and a testament to their confidence both in her, and the work she does on their behalf.
John is the former founder of John Wilson & Co who has brought with him a vast experience in property law and conveyancing. John is very forward-thinking and adopted many years in advance of others, digitisation and paper light methods of working allowing for greater efficiency and allowing clients greater levels of access to their transactional files, ensuring that clients are at the centre of everything that he does.
John is highly regarded for his delivery of service and extremely well known in this sector.
Joyce obtained a law degree from the University of Warwick and then attended the College of Law in Guildford to do the Law Society exams.
Joyce has worked in the private client area since qualification. She has dealt with a wide ranging caseload including estate administration, preparation of wills and powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters and disputes over wills and estates. She has a particular interest in issues affecting elderly clients. Joyce also acts as Deputy under the Court of Protection when required and has been a Court appointed administrator in several estates.
Joyce is a full member of STEP and a fully accredited member of Solicitors For The Elderly. Currently, she is a regional director of Solicitors For The Elderly with responsibility for Birmingham and the surrounding area.
Joyce has been involved in private client work for over forty years, having been articled to a private client specialist. She has worked mainly in Birmingham and London with a couple of spells in Coventry. Her experience has been wide ranging and involved all areas of private client work, from straightforward wills to multi million pound estates, Joyce likes the fact that she is always coming across new situations which present fresh challenges. Most recently, she has been dealing with a case involving a faked will. Joyce is passionate about her role in Solicitors For The Elderly and keen to promote their aim of being the gold standard in elderly client care. She is a trained Dementia Friend and in the past has undergone bereavement awareness training.
Joyce is married with two grown up children. She is a keen gardener and has a large garden which keeps her busy. She is an animal lover and at one time was heavily involved in her local cat rescue movement. Over the years, Joyce has shared her home with a variety of animals including three Great Danes. She has acted as clerk to a small Coventry charity for the relief of poverty for over thirty years. When time permits, Joyce likes to attend Birmingham Royal Ballet and the Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford upon Avon. She is also a fan of classical concerts and especially enjoys outdoor Proms style concerts, being a regular at the Battle Proms each year.
Meera joined Nicholls Brimble Bhol in May 2022 having previously worked for over 20 years as a Partner in the family department of a well known Worcestershire firm. She qualified in 1992 having completed her training in London.
She specialises in Divorce and all financial aspects of marital breakdown as well as parental disputes concerning arrangements for their children.
Since qualifying in 1992, she became a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel in 1999 and has been a member of Resolution the National Organisation for family lawyers for over 25 years.
In 2009 she qualified as a Specialist Collaborative lawyer and has successfully dealt with many cases through the collaborative law process.
Mike's appointment to Practice Manager is a key step in the firms strategy for growth and development. The role will enable the firm to apply a greater level of focus on the implementation of systems and processes, for the operational benefit of the business, the staff and for the benefit of the firm's clients.

Nick qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and, after articles with George Green & Co, established the highly successful practice of Nicholas Brimble & Co, which became Nicholls Brimble in 2010.
Nick's expertise is in property law and Trusts Law.

Paul was the founding partner of Nicholls Brimble in April 2010. He had worked at a niche litigation practice prior to forming Nicholls Brimble and at a number of local firms, both small and large. Rob, the firms Managing Partner is a solicitor and business owner and has enjoyed more than 30 years in the legal sector. He has represented thousands of clients, dealing with a wide variety of cases including Court of Appeal matters, run law firms and advised executive boards on developing strategic plans for sustained growth and development, consistently delivering successful outcomes with an excellent ability to direct and lead businesses, build strong relations with staff, key stakeholders and clients.
For individuals, requiring legal assistance, as part of Nicholls Brimble Bhol, Rob is able to ensure that clients have the right lawyer representing their needs and he is always directly available if a client of the business wishes to discuss any aspect of their matter with him personally.
Rob is also the firm's Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and for Financial Administration.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending family time with his wife and three children and supporting them in their various activities as well as finding time to read, learn and share time and experiences with friends and family and supporting good causes.
Rob is also a very keen supporter of the Princes Trust and spends time mentoring young entrepreneurs on the Enterprise Programme as well being a member of the Princes Trust West Midlands Development Committee.

Salima Mawji is a specialist Education Lawyer with over 20 years experience in the field. Salima's specialism is Further and Higher Education Law. From academic appeals to disciplinary issues, sexual misconduct allegations to challenges to fee status, fitness to practice to PhD issues, Salima has assisted many students in securing their rights in the education sector. Salima's approach is to focus on an amicable and mediated settlement, where both parties find a mutually acceptable compromise. Litigation is an expensive process and with the change in the costs regime it will only become harder to bring cases. Salima has achieved many settlements for her clients and is passionate about enforcing student's rights.
Educated at Cheltenham Ladies College, the University of Reading and the College of Law (now the University of Law), Salima went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2001. She became Head of the Education Department a year after qualification and then set up her own boutique Education Law practice, Match Solicitors, in Partnership with another lawyer. Match Solicitors went on to be named Leaders in the Field and ranked 1 in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 in 2017 with Salima being named an expert in Further & Higher Education Law. In 2023 Salima has been named an expert in Chambers & Partners and ranked in Legal 500 as part of IBB's Education Team.
Salima has been interviewed by almost all the national media outlets including newspapers, television and radio on her thoughts around Education Law issues arising at universities and/or colleges. Salima then sold the Match Solicitors brand in 2018 and joined IBB Law as a Consultant in 2020 and built the Department from scratch.

Shawn entered the legal profession in 1979 as a trainee and progressed to manage a Crown Court Department for one of Birmingham's most successful criminal law firms.
In 1986 he qualified as a solicitor and in 1989 became a freelance advocate prosecuting and defending criminal cases for the Crown Prosecution Service and solicitors in private practice respectively.
In April 1994 he became one of the country's first ever solicitor advocates enabling him to enjoy the same rights of audience in criminal courts as barristers. As such he has served for several years as a member and officer of the National Working Committee of the Solicitors
Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA) (www.sahca.org.uk). He was proud to be one of the Association's founding members and was equally proud to serve as Honorary Treasurer and then Acting Chair in 2012 and Chair from 2013 to the end of my term of office in October 2015.
In July 1994 he was co-founder of what became Central Solicitors' Chambers, the first Solicitor Advocate Chambers in the UK. This provided an ideal vehicle for freelance advocacy work and Chambers was engaged by prosecution agencies and private firms for advocacy work in all criminal courts.
In 1999 he joined a partnership, which became Rose, Williams & Partners based in Wolverhampton. The firm undertook all form of criminal law work and as one of the then Legal Services Commission's Very High Cost Case (VHCC) Panel contract managers he led a team of VHCC advocates and litigators. Shawn is also approved to undertake VHCC work as an advocate. He provided support to the practice's military law department and as the firm's senior advocate regularly appeared throughout the country to lead (and junior) high profile VHCC and non-VHCC criminal cases in the Crown Court, Courts Martial and Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). Shawn has for many years been involved in the prosecution and defence of the widest range of offences coming within Road Traffic and Road Transport legislation and led an enthusiastic and successful team dedicated to providing the very highest quality representation in this specialist area.
Following a detailed competitive tendering process, he ensured that the firm was awarded a three-year contract to prosecute cases for the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (now the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) for the Greater Midlands Area. Shawn is an avid supporter of the use of IT and an enthusiastic proponent of CaseMap®, TimeMap® and ExhibitView® software to assist in the effective management of large cases and cases for which visual presentation is essential. He have also assisted in the development of software to audit trail work done by litigators and advocates for VHCC cases.
He has worked digitally for many years and contributed as an invited consultant to the Review of Efficiency in Criminal Proceedings (established by Sir Brian Leveson, President of the Queen's Bench Division) by advising the sub-group on IT and Listing chaired by Lord Justice Fulford.
He is proud to receive instructions from the Crown Prosecution Service on a regular basis and often deal with specialised and sensitive cases including those with a high degree of press interest. He is also instructed to prosecute drink/drive cases where specialist defence firms have been engaged.
Shawn continues to appear in all criminal courts (Magistrates' Courts, Crown Court and Court of Appeal Criminal Division) undertaking work ranging from motoring cases to serious fraud and murder. In addition to his duties as a litigator and advocate he has been actively involved in promoting and running training seminars on a range of legal topics.
During his term of office with SAHCA he was involved with regular meetings, negotiations and general discussions with The Law Society, The Legal Services Board, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Criminal Bar Association, the General Council of the Bar, the Legal Services Commission (Legal Aid Agency), the Ministry of Justice, Local Law Societies, Educational Establishments, the Judiciary, foreign Law Societies and legal agencies and individual solicitors throughout England and Wales - on a vast range of topics affecting solicitor advocates. He also represented SAHCA on the Court of Appeal User Group Committee chaired by Lady Justice Hallett.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2008, Umar quickly progressed to head a legal department specialising in commercial and residential property transactions. Umar now acts as a consultant solicitor for a wide range of clients, from individuals to property developers and charities. Umar also provides training for junior lawyers and advises law firm owners on how to achieve legal best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Umar also has a keen sense of social responsibility. He has been involved in promoting a sense of citizenship and community cohesion amongst young people, and advises a number of regional and national charities on a pro bono basis.
In his spare time, Umar enjoys reading, playing football, practising martial arts and skiing.
