Having started my technical recruitment career back in March 2022, I can honestly say it's the best career move I've ever made! Fast-forward to the present day, I am now a Senior Consultant at Greenfield IT, where I pride myself in providing outstanding customer service for our clients and a hassle-free journey for our candidates.
Previous to recruitment, I was a Senior Manager in a supermarket for a number of years. I am proud of my roots and believe this job made me super resilient, grounded and great with the general public!
Outside Work:
I'm an avid traveler, I have visited 9 different European cities over the last 9 months. Away from travelling, you'll find me either watching football or trying to play it! Whilst at home I spend most my time watching Netflix, trying new recipes or booking holidays.
After a long stint of globetrotting as cabin crew, I decided it was time to put away my suitcase and focus on something I saw as a long-term career.
I knew I still wanted to be people focused, make good money, and build up relationships so recruitment felt like the perfect fit.
Following my own job search I felt even more inspired to help other people find the right career path for themselves and support the journey.

After finishing my apprenticeship, I had a big decision to make, should I stay at the company I did the apprenticeship with or step out of my comfort zone and take my first step towards building a long career. Obviously, I wouldn't have written this if I'd have chosen the easy option. Plus, from what I've found during my first few weeks here at Greenfield I believe I have made the right choice.
Outside work:
Outside of the work place my life is very repetitive but never the same, I enjoy playing 6 aside with my boys on a Monday and watching ball on the weekends. I enjoy socialising over a drink whether it's in a pub, bar or club.
I am the steady hand on the tiller at Greenfield IT. Working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the business. From finance to HR, I've got a cap that fits.

I've been in recruitment for nearly ten years working in both the commercial sector and health care sector but I'm still learning!
Having spent the last 4 years as a science teacher in Essex and Exeter, I decided it was time to go down a new path and pursue something that has always interested me… Recruitment!
Coming from a science background and with some experience within statistical analysis I naturally gravitated straight towards the data science niche. However, I enjoy learning about all things IT and I am always open to working on new roles within the IT and digital space.

I do a bit of everything in IT Recruitment, but I particularly enjoy helping clients mature their cyber security capability by recruiting and placing best in class security professionals in permanent roles or contract assignments.
For me recruitment is all about reputation. If you do a good job for people, they will recommend you. The Greenfield IT business model is based on this principle, so has my whole career in the industry. Work hard, be nice, and try to help people if you can. What goes around eventually comes around. It's a bit of a cliché but it's so true.

Outside work:
I have a busy family life with 3 teenage daughters. I'm often seen in my Mum taxi ferrying my girls around the area.
When I'm not in my taxi, I enjoy walking my lovely Cockapoo - Trigger in the local countryside and catching up with friends and family.
