Dr Chris Gleason joined Dr Rook's team after owning and operating The Animal Care Center in Duncanville for 30 years. He graduated from Duncanville High School in 1980 and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
Prior to his veterinary school education, he was dedicated to showing cattle and beef cattle production. His veterinary career has been exclusively small animal veterinary medicine. He remains amazed at the expertise demonstrated by Dr. Rook in his work with large and small animals.
He is married to Debbie Kocian Gleason, a graduate of Duncanville High School and North Texas State University. They have lived in Ellis County since getting married, where they raised three children, two of which are Aggies. Dr Gleason and his wife Debbie enjoy their fellowship with Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville where they have participated in Bible Study and other ministries since marriage.
Dr Rook, Graduated from Louisiana State University in 1983, then joined Midlothian Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Charles T Wofford. In March of 1998, he then opened his own practice which is the 14th Street Veterinary Clinic PC. In his spare time he works on his ranch and spends time with his family.
Joined the practice in December 2021 and started veterinary technician school in May 2022. She grew up on a farm and as an adult helped manage her family's dairy farm. She fell in love with animals at a young age and is now living her dream working with them every day. Jessica keeps busy being a single mom to her two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals in her spare time.

Being Dr. Rook's son, Justin has grown up in the vet business. He graduated from Henderson State University in 2006, with a bachelors degree in business management. He followed it up in 2013, by earning his Masters (M.B.A.) in business administration. He has been a main stay in the business office since January of 2014. He enjoys working side by side with his father.
Joining the practice in November 2012, She was born and raised in Texas. She moved to Midlothian in 1981. Her life is filled with love from her husband, 2 daughters, 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 horses. She loves spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Joined the practice in August 2017. She has always been around animals, from her own family's little farm to showing in the Midlothian FFA. She loves working with people and taking care of their fur babies. She has her associate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry soon hoping to go into forensic science. When she's not caring for your critters or studying, she enjoys relaxing with true crime documentaries, paranormal investigations friends and family.
