Daniel Soto is a great listener, a great communicator, and a very detail-oriented person, the three most important qualities in a Realtor. Daniel will pay deep attention to all your individual needs and make certain that he understands the relevant details of every home and every client.
A resident of Berkeley since 1993, Daniel loves neighborhoods and their houses, irrespective of condition, age, and style of architecture. He especially enjoys walking around Berkeley and looking for the potential in all homes, possessing an excellent innate sense of how to fulfill that potential.
An outdoorsman and rock climber for most of his life, Daniel is married and the father of two young children, for whom he was the main caretaker for the first two years of youngest child life. As anyone knows, raising children teaches many virtues, and the art of patience is one that Daniel has learned in spades! As a Realtor working with Abio Properties, he is looking forward to employing all his skills in helping his clients make their home-selling and home-buying experience as stress-free and successful as can be. Ken Brown has spent his career serving people. After graduating from college with a degree in business and a concentration in finance, Ken spent two years working with Household Financial Services in Chesapeake, Virginia. Much of his focus was debt counseling and helping families properly budget to meet their goals.
It was through volunteering with local middle and high school students that Ken felt the pull toward pastoral ministry. After completing a Masters of Divinity in 1997, Ken spent the better part of 17 years in pastoral ministry both in Virginia and here in the Bay area.
Ken has also worked with Contra Costa Christian School teaching ethics and comparative religions, serving as the high school athletic director and coaching, and serving as the director of community relations.
Ken and his wife Amy have lived in Contra Costa County for the better part of two decades. They are the proud parents of four adult children - Andrew together with his wife Samantha, Emily, Kristin, and Annie. In his spare time Ken enjoys hiking and has walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain. He continues to learn Spanish, loves watching Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer where his daughter plays, and can regularly be seen hanging with friends in local coffee shops. At the top of his bucket list is becoming fluent in Spanish and thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada.
Ken counts it a privilege to continue serving people and helping them through one of the biggest decisions of life - buying or selling a home, and working with the great team of people at Abio Properties makes it possible to provide his clients with the highest level of service available in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
