Aneesa Noureen has worked as an Associate at ANZ Partners. She joined the firm as a fresh graduate and started her legal journey at the Firm under the guidance of the Partners.
She assisted them in various legal propositions with her strong opinions based on extensive research. She draftedand vetted different petitions, pleadings, opinions, reports and contracts during her tenure at the Firm
She assisted the Firm in preparing proposals for different private as well as public procurements/tenders. She also represented the Firm before different forums including District Courts and Tribunals in civil, family, environmental and Competition matters. She has also practiced in the Trademark Law. Associates and Interns like her are our Firm's most valuable assets.

Barrister Aqeel Malik qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in the year 2011 and is a Member at the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn, London, United Kingdom. After completing the Bar Professional Training Course and Clerking with Honourable Judges at Snaresbrook Crown Court, London, United Kingdom, Mr. Malik proceeded to the United States and obtained a Master of Laws degree specialising in International and Comparative Law from the George Washington University, Washington DC.
Upon his return from the United States, Mr. Malik started practising law in Pakistan. His major areas of practice and concentration are Constitutional, Criminal, Private International Law, White Collar Crime, International Contract Negotiations, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He also provides regular consultations to foreign missions as well as Non-Governmental Organisations ‘INGOs' about the ins and outs of legal compliance in Pakistan. Mr. Malik represents individuals of high standing from various industries and professions; including heads of different organisations, institutions, and companies in diverse matters pertaining to fraud, corruption, money laundering, embezzlement, and illegal practices.
He also provides representation to political leaders of Pakistan on a regular basis as a thorough professional and has therefore represented various High-ranking individuals as well as their respective businesses at various forums of law from time to time. He is also experienced in the whole spectrum of arbitration, mediation, and negotiations; in particular, the claims arising from contractual breaches and other related claims before national and international forums. Further, Mr. Malik is the legal representative of and deals in issues pertaining to Consular issues for various Diplomatic Missions, including the Embassy of Austria, Italy, Poland, Germany, Brazil, Austrian Federal Ministry of Interior, Royal Danish Embassy to name a few. Moreover, Mr. Malik is one of the very few lawyers providing assistance to various Diplomatic Missions and Embassies on legal issues pertaining to Afghanistan.
Mr. Malik is regularly invited to Law-Conferences and symposiums around the world which adds to his exposure to the profession and legal acumen.
Aside from practising law, Mr. Malik possesses an avid interest within the political sphere of Pakistan as he has contested the 2018 By-Election for the National Assembly and was the runner-up candidate. He is quite active politically within his constituency and divides his time between law and politics.

Fazli Qadir Khan is a Partner at the Firm. Having a background in economics, as well as international relations; and with Clients ranging from Oil Refineries and Pharmaceutical Companies, to International Real Estate Developers operating in multiple countries, as well as high net-worth individuals and politicians,
Habza Shah has worked as an Associate at ANZ Partners, Islamabad. She has worked on a range of matters pertaining to Civil, Corporate and Family Law litigation and advisory.
Ms. Shah has assisted the Partners in providing legal services to our corporate clients on labour & employment laws, contractual matters, copyrights & trademark laws, regulatory compliance as well as company laws. She has also assisted in preparing and filing of lawsuits of various natures and has represented the Firm's Clients on numerous forums of adjudication and her standing as a legal Counsel in a Court of law has been exceptional.
Ms. Shah has previously worked in the Human Rights Cell of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and has since been on the quest of becoming a seasoned and diligent Advocate.

Mr. Hamza Humayun is a seasoned advocate based in Lahore. He completed his LLM from Northumbria University in the year 2010. Mr. Hamza Humayun is the Working Partner-head of ANZ Partners Lahore Office.
He is engaged in rendering a wide array of legal services to his clients. Since year 2015, Mr. Hamza is also a faculty member of University of Lahore teaching, inter alia, Banking Law and Law of Taxation. Mr. Hamza Humayun is an expert litigation lawyer and has dealt with several high profile cases before the Honorable Lahore High Court, Labour Court, Banking Court, Election Commission, Federal and Provincial Tax Tribunal and PEMRA.

Nabeel Rehman is the Managing Partner of the Firm and heads his Corporate & Commercial Practice at ANZ Partners and is based at the Islamabad Office. Mr. Rehman is an experienced and dedicated Corporate Lawyer who focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation.
He plays a crucial role in advising and representing private entities in Pakistan and overseas in all legal aspects of their practice, including constitutional law, assets tracing and recovery, actions against former company officers, company's internal matters, arbitration, taxation and energy laws amongst others. Furthermore on behalf of Firm, Mr. Rehman has been responsible for representing private entities and manufacturers before National Tariff Commission in matters pertaining to anti-dumping, countervailing and safe guard measures and before NEPRA related tariff matters.
As a Partner of the firm, Mr Rehman has had the honor of handling legal matters of several reputed international and local companies/entities and Foreign Missions. His Clients include UNHCR, ILO, Serene Airlines, International NGOs such as Save the Children (SCF), Muslim Hands (MH), Muslim Aid, Pakistan (MAP) and Islamic Relief (IR) to name a few.
Mr Rehman has also advised Foreign Missions and Embassies on various labour issues and drafted Rules For Local Staff in the Danish Embassy & Pension Rules & Regulations for Pakistan Nursing Council. In terms to litigation, Mr. Rehman has gained immense experience in a very short time and so far has been counsel in more than 200 cases in High Court. Currently Mr. Rehman is an Advocate for the Supreme Court of Pakistan and represents his Clients in the Apex Court of Law. Mr. Rehman was also nominated by UNHCR for ‘Young Outstanding Lawyer Award, 2018' by International Bar Association (IBA) where he was shortlisted as one of the finalists from all around the world and excerpt of his achievement was published on their official webpages.
He has also been awarded the prestigious "Recommended Lawyer" status by the Legal500 Asia-Pacific Chapter and practices at par with the standards laid down by the Legal500 in that respect.

Saba was an associate at the Firm and has worked in assisting the Partners in a wide array of legal practice. She has assumed the roles of an Associate and whatever it encompasses and been diligent in her work.
Umair Rehman Khattak worked as an Associate at ANZ Partners. His tasks at the Firm included assisting the Partners through his research and skills in different matters including advisory and litigation.
He has experience in multiple fields of law including Banking, Service, Contract, Land, Rent, Accountability, Corporate, Family, Civil Law, Labor, Constitutional and Criminal laws especially white-collar crimes, matters before NAB and FIA, vetting and drafting contracts and policy writing.
His communication and advocacy skills have always been proved very beneficial for the positive reputation of the Firm. He is currently employed at a multi-national company but his sincerity and affection towards the Firm has always been exemplary. Mr. Jamshaid commenced legal practice in 2012. He is an LLM graduate of Cardiff University - England&Wales, a member of the prestigious Russel Group of Universities of United Kingdom. After completing his LLM in International Commercial Law, he returned back to Pakistan where he resumed his practice as an Advocate in good standing for the High Courts of Pakistan.
Once back, he initiated his solo practice and has been responsibly taking care of the Firm's and Client-Interests to the highest professional legal standards.
His diverse practice includes corporate law, civil law, service law, family law and Intellectual Property and Academic Law. He has a keen interest in puruing IT and Cyber Security Law. His Clients include, tech incubators, aviation companies, regulators and blend of various private clients.
Aside from practicing law, Usama has been a Visiting Faculty at Bahria University - Islamabad and has been teaching Law of Evidence to the upcoming and promising lot of lawyers. He also has a keen interest for arts and therefore is an advocate of various arts and media-based clientele.
To sum up, Usama Jamshaid is a seasoned professional lawyer and Advocate as well as one who has a taste for arts and academics and has a very approachable personality.
Wajid Ullah joined our Islamabad Office in 2022 right after his graduation. Wajid holds an L.L.B Degree from University of London. He assists the Partners in a variety of Corporate, Commercial and Civil matters.
Wajid also deals with assisting the Partners in rendering legal opinions, research, drafting and litigation in all areas. He has a professional work ethic and is diligent in his submissions to the Partners. He aspires to become a Practicing Advocate and to represent the Firm's Clients in a Court of Law.
Wajid is also involved in assisting the Partners in their consultancy for multinational corporations, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, local companies and government entities.
