Since 1997 ACT's engineers have been advancing the technology of simulated altitude systems and are considered the world's experts on the subject. We create both high and low altitude environments for a variety of applications including: medical research, human physiology testing, for the prevention of altitude sickness, to improve human and equine sporting performance, preservation of artifacts, ... and now for training aviators on hypoxia awareness... From our facility in Colorado we specialize in one thing: Creating the very best altitude-simulation systems available... For nearly 20 years we have been applying the newer technology of normobaric hypoxia (ie with no pressure change) to simulate altitude for applications such as sports training, medical research, and artifact protection. Now, through collaboration with the US Navy, the FAA and leading aviation universities, this technology has been successfully adapted for the world of aviation survival training.
