Aleshia Evans

Aleshia joined Bendigo Speech Works at the beginning of 2017. She currently works with children with a variety of communication difficulties including those with delays in speech, language and social skills. Aleshia is passionate about early oral language, as well as providing services to children with developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability. Aleshia has a special interest in working with children to support their ability to communicate in a wide range of settings. Aleshia's hobbies outside of work include playing sport, reading and enjoying good food.

Ellena Binney

Ellena is a recent graduate in Speech Pathology with previous placement experience in schools, regional hospitals and private practices with a diverse range of clients. Ellena has a special interest working with children of all ages with speech and language difficulties and AAC. In her spare time Ellena enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing sport

Hansi Fernando

Hansi started at Bendigo Speech Works in 2019 and has special interests in working with people from culturally and socio-economically diverse backgrounds. Hansi enjoys working people needing support with fluency (stuttering), swallowing management and language disorders. Outside of work, Hansi enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog.

Janine Pittock

Janine started at Bendigo Speech Works in 2019. She studied Speech Pathology as a mature-aged student and is passionate about providing practical strategies and tools to assist people whose independence and function is impacted by their communication or intellectual difficulties. Janine has particular interests in swallowing, literacy and Augmentative and alternative communication. When Janine is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and umpiring netball.

Kianna Morris

Kianna joined Bendigo Speech Works in 2019 as an Administration assistant. She is studying Speech Pathology at La Trobe University Kianna will be one of the friendly voices offering to assist you when you call or when attending at the clinic. She will be only too happy to answer any queries you may have and will endeavour to ensure that you will experience a professional and friendly environment whilst connected with Bendigo Speech Works. Outside of work, Kianna enjoys spending time with her friends, going to concerts and running

Lois Lacey

Lois joined the wonderful team at Bendigo Speech Works at the end of October 2021 as Practice Manager. She comes with her experience in Private Practice and is eager to make a difference and in assist any way she can to work efficiently within all aspects of this role. Lois also provides back-up for the admin team and will often answer your calls and emails. She has many useless pieces of information in her head which she is always willing to share along with a great sense of humor. She enjoys a good story and a good laugh - mostly at herself! In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, all sorts of crafty things as well as spending time with her husband of 24 years and her 2 grown daughters.

Olivia Parkinson

Olivia joined Bendigo Speech Works in 2017 and has recently returned to work from Maternity Leave. Olivia has experience working with both adult and paediatric clients. Olivia's special interests include fluency, developmental language delay and swallowing disorders, and she is enjoying running Social skills groups for clients in Primary and Secondary school. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Simone Fraser

Simone joined the Bendigo Speech Works team in 2018. She has over 13 years experience working with school aged children and teenagers in both mainstream and special school settings. Simone has worked in Melbourne, London and in the greater Bendigo area to support students with speech, language and communication needs. Simone has a passion for developing oral language and early literacy skills using evidence-based approaches. When she is not working, Simone enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen dancer.

Suzie Keck

Suzie began working as Speech Pathologist in Central Victoria in 1990. She has worked with adults in acute hospital settings, rehabilitation and in nursing homes. She also worked for a number of years in early intervention, schools and in community based teams. Suzie has a special interest in communication and swallowing disorders of neurological origins, as well as literacy and developmental delays. Outside of work, Suzie loves spending time with family and friends and cooking.

Tracey Wilson

Victoria Kosmac

Victoria completed her Masters of Speech Pathology as a mature aged student, having previously achieved qualifications in Biomedical science and health sciences and working as a Scientist. She has also worked as a Breastfeeding Counsellor and Classroom Assistant in voluntary capacities. Victoria is passionate about assisting others to live their best lives and is working with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. Victoria also enjoys working in the areas of literacy and language with school aged students. When she is not working, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and her animals.
