Dr. Gary Soucie

As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Soucie (Dr. Seuss) provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He treats a wide range of medical issues such as diabetes, hypertension, well child visits, OB/GYN care including deliveries, and infant care. Dr. Soucie graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency at Idaho State University Family Practice Residency. Dr. Soucie has been labeled as one of the best residents to graduate out of the ISU program. Dr. Soucie and his wife Amy have five children. Together they enjoy skiing, hiking, outdoor activities and spending time together as a family.

Dr. Matthew Fackrell

Dr. Fackrell was very excited to come home to Blackfoot. He and his wife moved several places in the Midwest for medical school and residency, but are glad to be home. He has four children that keep him busy. Dr. Fackrell loves the full spectrum of family practice. He enjoys taking care of great grandma down to the newborn. He enjoys working in Blackfoot and getting to know the wonderful people here. He enjoys helping with everything from the common cold, lacerations, fractures, hair loss, acne, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, wellness exams, DOT physicals, and many other aspects of family medicine. He has been practicing here for nearly 10 years and plans to stay. When he is not working, he likes to snow ski, oil paint, read, spend time with his children and wife, and serve in his church. He feels very blessed to be able to work with such great people here in Blackfoot. You are welcome to come see him, he takes walk-ins most every morning, and appointments some afternoons. He is in the urgent care Tuesday nights.

Dr. Paul Beckett

Dr. Paul Beckett completed medical school at the University Of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Beckett then completed his family practice residency at Fort Wayne Medical Education Program Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Beckett had the honor of being selected as Indiana's Resident of The Year, 2005 during his residency. Dr. Beckett's interests include obstetrics, sports medicine, diabetes, total care of the family unit, workers compensation, and industrial medicine. Dr. Beckett and his wife Melissa have 2 girls and 2 boys. They love the west; enjoy traveling, outdoor activities and spending time together as a family. They are excited to be in Blackfoot and look forward to providing primary care to the residents of Southeast Idaho.

Dr. Travis Erickson

Dr. Travis Erickson grew up in rural Washington State and is a graduate of BYU. He obtained his medical degree at Midwestern University in Arizona. He completed his residency training at Naval Hospital Pensacola Florida specializing in full scope Family Medicine with a strong emphasis on obstetrics, pediatrics, potato husbandry, and geriatrics. He spent seven years in active duty military service with the US Navy serving on naval bases and air stations in Florida, Japan, and Washington. Dr Erickson comes to Idaho with his lovely wife of 20 years and four children. They are excited to become established with the community and to reconnect with local family. He looks forward to treating the whole family in all age groups. He is a strong advocate of a patient centered medical home and will partner with his patients to make and achieve health goals. Dr. Erickson primarily practices at Shelley Family Medical Center. If you are interested in OB care, Dr. Erickson comes to Blackfoot Medical to treat patients for their OB follow up visits. He occasionally covers Urgent Care as well but all other scheduled visits will need to be at Shelley Family Medical Center.
