Boswells is a family business, not a big corporate chain. We're proud of that. For 50 years, we've dared - and cared - to do things differently, to share our personal vision of what a great café should be... Our family company was founded in 1972 by Jeremy Burn. Over time we have evolved from ‘Swiss Chalet' bakeries, to French-style cafés in the 1980s and then, in the late 1990s, to ‘Boswells'. We opened our first Boswells in the Brunel Centre, Swindon, and now have 18 fantastic cafés, all delivering our benchmark quality of food and drink, service and care, flexibility and personal warmth...
